I'm not sure I get it. After staring at it for a minute, has someone stunbled on these creatures and they don't want people to know about them so they're blowing some sort of bubbles which will kill him into his eyes?

If so...how very strange.

God do I have to explain it?

First two panels show gnomes blowing bubbles, probably cause they're having a good time, and it's just happy go fun land.

Third panel shows it's exactly opposite of what you would think, they're using the bubbles as a sort of torture.

Perry Bible scorecard:

riotously funny: 2
pretty funny: 3
not at all funny: the rest

I'm going to add this to 'pretty funny'. The impish glee on the gnomes' happy faces compared with their grisly chore is funny by itself, but for me the line about 'betrayal' makes it hilarious not only because it makes you wonder what the guy did but because the evil interogator gnome looks so cute perched on his pillow.

Meh, if that's the case he did practically the same joke far better in that other cmoic from a while back. The one with the two kids having fun the first two panels, then saying something like, "We are truly free now father is dead" in the last.

Getting soap in your eyes stings something fierce--I assume that in the action after the third panel, the bubbles begin to rupture.

$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated
Is liking art house films a requisite for finding these comics funny?

I thought this was some Gnoimsh fantasy to get back at Gulliver... I guess I was wrong.

lol same. I still found this comic funny (I do for pretty much any Perry Bible comic).

Alright, I'm making it a new fucking rule that if you can't figure out a simple 3 fucking panel comic, you're not allowed to post in the fucking thread. Jesus God damn Christ, I escape this retardation by rarely browsing the Gaming forum, so keep it the fuck out of here.

I figured it out: it's not funny.

*begin massive argument over which webcomics are consistently funny and not, and mods subsequently going nuts*
I have a better idea. If you don't like it, don't reply. If few people like it, the topics will eventually cease being created.

There. Simple.

The problem is, I don't like this one. But I do usually like them. What do I do? Help me Mike Works!
Don't post in the thread! Just hit the friggin back button! I like Perry Bibleship, Penny Arcade, Men in Hats, and countless other web comics, and if I see one that I don't like in a thread, I just don't fucking post complaining about it! Giving opinions on books, movies, and videogames is one thing, but a 3 panel web comic, unless it's a positive opinion to support the interest in having someone post them each update (at least for the weekly ones), there's just no point.
