Sigh, the Vita is going to be like the PSP all over again. Blah blah blah, It has no games, but every time it gets one, people want console ports....

And Sony has encouraged this thinking with the PSP remasters program.
 
I'm not the only one more hyped for Fighting, I hope. That game's going to be amazing.

Big question: who is left?

I'm guessing:

Akihiko, Junpei, Yukari, Mitsuru.


Unless of course someone returns somehow.
 
Anyone remember the screenshots of the P3 characters in that fan made fighting game? Not sure if they were fake or its a game that lets you make your own characters and what not.. all I know is when I seen them I thought to myself how fucking badass it would be to have a Persona fighting game.. and here it is. Got Damn Atlus take my $! alll of it!

I would search for the screens but I'm posting from a laptop while I'm out and don't have the time right now. I'm sure somebody will help me out here. As far as the P4 Golden.. after playing P4 on PCSX2 for a couple hours I'm not that impressed from the screens, but I know its still going to look fantastic on the Vita screen.

Well the game is Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayanoka so I presume
Naoto. Maybe Adachi, Margaret, or the new girl, Mari/Mary or versions of Teddie and Rise.

There seems to be some underlying narrative (to the fighting game, tee hee, but I digress) so it's probably going to stick to the P4 people. Aigis is probably the only P3 cameo.

Yeah, it's pretty fair to expect that Mary has some kind of connection with the Velvet Room considering the V on the hat, button on the bag and the hat/bag being in the usual Velvet Room blue.

man 2D fighting games are one of my favorite types of games, anime or not. Usually they're pretty technical and that's what I like, skill-based gaming.
 
The 'Persona 4' in the game title tells me that the roster will probably include Charlie and all the other Investigation Team members, bar Rise and possibly Teddie. Plus the villain of P4. So that's 7/8 of the roster right there. Plus Aegis, there's room for like one or two more characters, ignoring any possible secret slots on the character screen, so I'd say our extra characters are the P3 hero(ine) and Mitsuru.

I'll bet Margaret is unlockable.
 
I really want to use that Chie avatar, but I'd feel awful taking it away from someone considering I've only put a few hours into P4.
 
Kind of amazes me there's still people who haven't played Persona 4 this late in the game. And some of those people own it, even.

Save file wiped by accident. Its hard to motivate myself. After innocent sin on psp I might finally say to hell with it and do it.
 
It's honestly hard for me to even fathom that this game is happening - it's like one of those games that you come up with as a kid in the margins of your notebook. This is how I felt when Lego Star Wars was first announced, haha - so awesome.

I think it's pretty cool, but really, when Marvel vs. Capcom can happen, it's not really so out-there, is it?
 
If there's really only 10 character, I'm thinking:

1. Charlie/MC (Fool)
2. Yosuke (Magician)
3. Chie (Chariot)
4. Yukiko (High Priestess)
5. Kanji (Emperor)
6. Naoto (Fortune)
7. Teddie (Star)
8. Aigis (Fool)

And I guess...Akihiko (Emperor) and Junpei (Magician)? Maybe Mitsuru for the Empress?

Kind of doubt they'd put
Adachi (another Fool)
in there because of spoilers (even though it'll be releasing post-anime and post-game re-release). And I don't think they'd put
Minato (ANOTHER Fool) in there if they want to respect the canon.
But hey, it's a fucking fighting game. Maybe they'll go female MC from P3P for promotional purposes.
