Just what is this game about? People always mention the waifus, I know very little besides that.

I've always thought of the waifu crap as a joke. Nobody really takes that shit seriously do they?
Anyways, I want the option to play as a girl from the get go. I don't want it showing up in some alternate version of the game that's on a console I don't own. I want to see what it's like to romance a guy in one of these games.
And what are the chances we get customizable clothing options? At least on the MC. I figure that the since we're going to be dealing with portraits again, the party is going to remain in their selected getup. However I do want the MC looking as slick as possible and I want to design it. Give it to me Atlus!

Just business as usual.
Party members would die for you etc etc. Albeit that crap was annoying IMO. I wish you could turn it off and have normal battles without those interferences. Would make the game more challenging.

I certainly don't think anyone takes it seriously, although that might reflect my opinions on it. Persona 4 Golden had costumes for dungeons but I doubt they will let you change clothing if you still go to school which it seems like you do as you're in uniform.

Hmm, the eyebrows do kind of look similar. They do remind me of him a bit.
I went back over the two characters I thought it reminded me off, but I think I was remembering them wrong. I thought either Eikichi or Yukino. I think it was the way the eyebrows + the eyes look? The cut ins go by annoyingly quick, and it's low quality so...argh!
Well judging from the message from the director to fans that was posted after this conference, it seems like that was all they going to show for now.
"I apologize for only being able to show so little, but it would make me happy to know that you all have been able to get a glimpse of the game’s atmosphere." No comments on look forward for more at TGS itself or such either.
