Cant suspend and resume on PS4 which is the main reason a PSV version would be great.
Grinding in P4G was much less of a pain with it.
They could just add in dungeon save points to fix that I guess though.

I used to Joke that "waifus" was the reason Persona 3 & 4 were really popular. Joke was on me when I realized it was probably true since most Persona threads/topics seem to eventually just talk about that.

This game was the only reason I was hanging onto my PS3, looks like it's out with the old and in with the new.
I'm pleasantly surprised to see this announced for the PS4. Persona has a history of releasing their games towards the end or past it's console's lifespan (I'm not counting Persona 1 since that game was garbage):

I really do hope Persona 5 has a more developed social system like Persona 3. If you ignored people your social links would suffer, if you had 5 girlfriends they would find out and break the social link completely, and so on. Persona 4 on the other hand seemed designed around fulfilling completionist's neuroses.

To those describing Persona to people who've yet to play the series; didn't one of the producers say P5 would switch things up even more compared to P3/P4 than those two games did with P1/P2? I think the next game has a good chance of going beyond the visual novel/dungeon crawler setup that we've gotten used to.

Not myself, mind you. I can see why people like the spinoff series, especially considering their notoriety in the US. Fuck, I actually like the subseries that nobody cares about, like Demikids, so I shouldn't be talking.
