I encountered that thing twice and let it get away twice because I forgot Down Shot was a thing. :|Make sure to use Down Shot if you haven't been already. Super useful for Crystal Skull in particular.

That said, does pre-Concentrate Ann even outdamage Yusuke though?
Only need Hope Diamond and Crystal Skull for that compendium.
I wasn't actually sure how many treasure shadows there were so it was a bit of a surprise when I discovered a new one in my NG+ playthrough. Looking at the list now, I'm still missing the Level 40 one.
Between Down Shot and Lucky Punch, it's been easy for me to CAPTURE treasure shadows, it's getting them to spawn that's been haphazard. I never bothered with treasure traps, though. (How do they work, exactly? Do they have a time limit, do they only last for the current section of the palace/Mementos, do they last until you leave the dungeon entirely, etc.)
Well, the direction seems pleased with the popularity of an olympic medalist to look away from some rape and abuse so I think the daughter of a millionare bussinessman wont have any problems for raising some coffee beans.
I just got Bugs, this thing is nuts with Auto-Mataru. Killing most stuff in 1 round now.
Treasure traps last until you leave a Palace/Mementos.
In Mementos in particular you can simply go in and out of a floor to cause them to spawn.
How many treasure demons are there? Is there one for allpalaces? I just need to know how many treasure traps to make before my final mementos trip.8
Well, I mean, the principal definitely was an asshole and I felt no simpathy for him. But as far as we know, the only thing that the rest of the teachers could have known is. It seemed like he only had interest inthe hellish training the volleyball club had to endure, and only decided toAnnrape Shiho after Ann told him to fuck off.
So... yeah. Most knew there was something fishy about him. But they didn't know the full extent of his actions.and the only guys that knew what had happened were NPC and the two most problematic kids at school.Shiho enters a coma after she tries to kill herself too,
The problem is that they everybody, including parents, other teachers and the principal, allowed him to run wild long enough to make him feel that, no matter what happened, nobody would stop him.
TBH,felt a bit underwhelming after the first arc. The stakes feel much lower and the writting was a bit dull in that part of the game. The game picks up again after that, I'd say. But Palace 3 was one of my favorites, it's the one that feels the most like a heist.Madarame
The thinking man's strategy is to drop all the Auto-Ma* skills on a single Persona and start with it in every encounter.
Make sure to use Down Shot if you haven't been already. Super useful for Crystal Skull in particular.
Late game ann using severe fire skill with fire amp/boost plus concentrate is devastatingWell you can only have 4 people in your party. The limitation he was talking about was for your Ryuji/Yusuke/Makoto party. If you are going to wait until you get a turn to switch Yusuke/Ryuji to Haru mid battle then what's even the point of keeping them in your party, just keep Haru there as is.
Ryuji is irreplaceable late game
Same for Makoto
That leaves Haru, Yusuke and Ann fighting for the last spot. Yusuke is just Ryuji with less damage and Masukukaja, Ann is Ryuji but with magic damage, while Haru is a slightly less damaging but more flexible combo of both Ryuji and Ann (who still does more damage than Yusuke due to 75% damage boost + all stat up buff).
To me the only option is either Ann for full damage party or Haru for more flexiblity.
Got to September. The Futaba stuff was great. The beach stuff wasn't really that bad, until it got homophobic as fuck again. Lame. Stop doing that Atlus!
Also, I got to 9 with Takemi, but at the very last moment I said "What do you think?" instead, because that felt like the natural and less illegal answer. Did I just friendzone her? Not too bothered about it though, probably beats putting her in prison later on.
65 hours in. Starting the 6th palace and I feel underpowered AF.
Also, I feel the story became very predictable by this point. I love this game but that made me feel less great about it
You doctorzoned her.
You doctorzoned her.
So many of these Mementos conversations I've never seen, and I even sit around when one begins so I don't cut them off.

I hope in P5 Crimson, they just let those conversations run their course, even if you get into a battle. Everyone deserves to hear Ryuji and Morgana sing "Wheels on the Bus."
Late July spoilers:
WE'RE FINALLY FREE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?
I believe at least one girl is shown in the news report after Kamoshida turns himself in, and I think she talks about sexual advances. Plus there are numerous hints in Kamoshida's palace pointing to this, including all the female student statues and the library where you have to insert the King/Queen/Slave books into the right slots, not to mention the creepy shrine to Shiho behind one of the bookshelves.
The game doesn't spend a lot of time establishing who should be blamed for what, but I think the heavy implication is thateveryone knew something was going on, and no one lifted a finger to stop it. Considering that it's a school we're talking about and that students are the victims (many of whom presumably have parents who care about the well-being of their children), you'd think it wouldn't have been necessary for incontrovertible proof and a confession to appear before someone at least opened an investigation.
There was a Yusuke blurb where he talks about using up his money for art supplies instead of food. The poor bastard. Pun intended.
Yep. The last two will not be available until almost the last day though.
So the 8th one is in theitself?depths of Mementos
I think this game is quite good at establishing dynamics between characters. Like Ryuji and Ann, Futaba and Yusuke, Ryuji and Yusuke. I think Ryuji and Futaba have their moments too. Makoto is generally more serious and acts as the "mom" of the group. Haru joins the party too late and most of their interactions with the cast are about them being worried about her. But it doesn't feel that they are glued by the MC in the same way the P4 cast felt.
Wow, Most of October spoilers
Worst month in the game hands down. I can't do shit.
Yep, it's good that Atlus is kind of moving away from the "MC is the universe" trope that's present in most of their games (and other games like Cold Steel). What makes a cast of characters good is how they're defined individually and how they relate with other characters that exist around them, and not just the self-insert MC. This is something the Tales of series is king at, Berseria especially. Persona 5 is a step in the right direction, I'd say.
Its really tempting to do a ng+ run.. even I told myself I wouldnt do it.. aah decisions! Should really just play p4

The problem with sexual abuse and minors is that the usual targets aren't the kind of people that would be able to defend themselves from that and stand up and sue said teacher.
Somebody like Kamoshida won't target a student like Makoto, for example. They'll go for more "average" students, those that can't answer of that won't be heard because of their own or their family circumstances. Some examples below:
Ryuji is a target, due to his father past about violence and being raised by a single mother.
Ann is a target, because she is isolated and her only friend could be put in a bad position did she dare oppose him.
Shiho is a target, because she needs to be a regular in order to get a sports scholarship and go to a good university.
The list goes on.
I'm sure most people knew something weird was going on. I mean, the volleyball club people are out there with wounds and stuff. But if you have a predator type personality, which he seems to have, it's easier to cover up a lot of the stuff you do by picking the right students.

Yusuke: That's it! I have come up with a new recipeh.
the localisation's alright
Fair enough.
That said, does pre-Concentrate Ann even outdamage Yusuke though? He gets a Severe-tier physical skill pretty early, so he's outdamaging those 2 until the very end.
the localisation's alright
I dunno, you say this as though Persona 3 didn't already do this more than 10 years ago. In that game, you were coming into an already established team, with people more experienced than you are. People weren't lining up to praise you, and oftentimes there'd be party members who straight up weren't able to go to Tartarus even though you might have wanted to, because they were living their own lives and were doing their own things that night. There's the part where Social Links could revert or even break, too.
That dynamic existed in P3, and it was also present in previous Persona games. Hell, there's a sequence in P2:EP (P2: Eternal Punishment Spoilers):Where the main team no longer needs to cooperate with each other, so they each go their own ways to deal with the conflict on their own.
Persona 4 was kind of the exception to this, but P5 dialed it back instead of taking it even further (thankfully). TMS #FE followed in P4's footsteps, in that regard.
I do like how, more like P3, P5 wasn't so adamant about seeing things only from the main character's perspective like it was in P4. As you mention, this gives a better sense of the interactions between other characters, without the MC having to be involved each time.
Erm Persona 3?
