So after wanting one for over three years I'm finally at a good place in life to get a dog. I spent almost 6 months looking for a good shiba breeder and was running into bad breeder after bad breeder. Then I found a local breeder only an hour away that raised the pups in the house with them.

His name is Indy

I can't pick him up until the 30th. The wait is killing me. He was adorable. Of the three males they had he plopped right down on my lap and started licking my hand. The choice was easy.

My boyfriend just adopted a cute little cat from the pound. His name is Alfie, he's six years old, and a total sweetheart. I can't believe people give up such great animals so easily. This cat is so laid back and friendly, I can't see how it would be any sort of hardship to care for him. People SUCK.

Dogs are totally different when outside, they are really meant to run around freely. It's too bad that I live in a city, if I had a nice terrain away from the city I'd have dogs and they could always go outside. They especially like to go to new places. Smelling stuff is like their #1 passion.
