I had never heard of Mini-huskies until that last pets thread we had here. Are they mixed with Chiuaua or something?

It's an actual UKC approved breed, they have been around since 1978 and then breed selectively for about 10 years before being publically released. It's actually called a Klee-Kai but nobody knows what that is. He looks and acts just like a husky, but is only 12 lbs and very manageable.

Some dogs just look like they would be a barrel of fun and Puma is no exception. He(?) totally makes me wanna do that thing where you keep petting them backwards on their heads and they get all riled up and bouncing... ready to rough house with you. Complete with playful barks and all. That's the best! *laughing*

She's full of energy. I love rough housing with her. Though she gets a little bitey now and then and you have to stop playing.

Awesome :D

Wish I could have a husky, but they aren't too great with cats so.. : /

My family has always had both huskies and cats and we've never had a problem. You just gotta get them used to cats early on.

Yeah, if you get the cat and huskies young, they're great friends. My friend's husky is great with her cat. My husky on the other hand loves cats but as a snack.

Here's my dog, Lilo. A mix of Boxer and Labrador.

We got her when she was 3 because her first master was beating her and the owner of the dog who was the mother of Lilo took her back from that bastard except that he had no free time to take care of her.

She is a very good dog to us and our family except that she sometimes have a random bad temper with strangers and new dogs. :(

Here she is playing with her "cousin" Roxy. Fortunately for us and my parents (who own the other dog), the two of them are getting along very well.

I also have two cats but no pics at this time.

My Husky is like your friends. My brothers husky is like yours.

Does anybody else, after looking through this thread, go and fuss all the pets in the house? :lol - I have loads of friends without pets, can't imagine how empty the house would feel!

My cousin's dog died in his house today. I thought he was an awesome dog. He even felt like part of the family to me. He always seemed a bit sick, but I always thought he'd make it past 4.

I love you Maxsho :(

So many dogs and cats : )
Here are my two ferrets.

Biscuit Krueger
HPIM0671.jpg

She's about four and a half years old now. My best friend got rid of her when his girlfriend bitched, and he gave her to me when who was a year old. She is really friendly to me now, but she was hostile for a year or so. She still loves to play tag and run around the apartment, and she killed a mouse that was bothering me, so full marks there. More than anything else in the world though, she loves this guy:

He is a year and a half old now, and a total spaz. He almost never stops running, and is often running into things or tripping. He steal my shoes the drags them under the couch whenever possible.

Here they are together:

I've always been a ferret fan, not sure why. There is a really nice rabbit/ferret breeder a few towns away that I got to. They are both pure bread Canadian ferret. They'll live longer and have less illness than pet store ferrets

He's Awesome!!

Sorry about the pics, camera phone...

Edit: Resized for optimum viewing

suikodan: the booties on that dog are very adorable.

I've no pictures of my dog.. surprisingly.
But we just rescued a very sweet kitten.

I was more interested in his stripes than his colouring (average brownish/black), and the bits of white in his fur. His name is Skippy and my 80lb dog thinks that he is the coolest toy ever.

I've posted these before in other pet threads. But hey, who can resist another one.

Poppy. A kelpie who loves tennis balls.

My labrador; old man at 7 years old! I don't take enough photos of him. :T We use to have a german shepard when I was a kid too.
My orange girl is 3. I don't have any recent photos of the gray one (he is my younger brother's cat), but he's waaaay bigger than the tabby now. 8 months old currently.
