It is more than reasonable to ask if someone is black if they claim that a black person is being racist to another black person by posting a gif that accurately portrays a situation.

Yeah, it's great.

Some of the stuff i heard back during the arena shooter days because of the sore losers, it happened to tons of people due to the competitive nature but over the years you really get to step back and see what it really is. There is something terribly wrong with these people. I know i never even thought of saying this kind of stuff whenever i or a team mate lost (and had quite a few bad days to boot), and i lost more times than i can even begin to count across multiple competitive games back in the day. Granted some of them were kids/teens who were doing some top level badmouthing but then there were also a buttload of grown adults doing these out of line crap.

It's almost like they had some sort of swearing gene or something (obviously it doesn't exist but it sure felt like it).

As for the second part of your message, I completely agree. I think it's a very bad word to use that has no good usage. I said in an earlier post that he has a large platform with which he should be more responsible, but he clearly is not very mindful of that. He is too childish and too much of a fool to take that into account with how he conducts himself. That is where I think his use of the word comes from, not any sort of inherent white supremacy.

That said, I do not think him being forced to disappear will resolve anything. If anything, it will make his sizable fanbase resentful of those that shut down someone they clearly have a lot of respect for. I don't think we need more resentment here. There will always be another and another and another with the current climate as it is. There's a deeper-seated issue at play and it's not simply born-and-bred racists. A lot of it is ignorance that breeds insensitivity through the normalization of these words as everyday fare.

Racism does not hinge on how we deal with PewDiePie. You and I both know this so fucking stop this shit.

What we know is that this is how you deal with racism. The gaming community is one you obviously have great investment in. When you find what you believe to be unfathomable and unforgivable racism in your area of interest, exile is your solution. That is how I know you are not able to divorce your emotional investment in order to reasonably discuss the origin of Pewdiepie's behavior.
