But I was never antigay. Didn't hate gay people. Just one of those things we pick up and say. We hear it from friends and the like.

We used it around each other. If someone caught me using it, they would think I was homophobic, when really I wasn't. Wasn't really helping my cause though.

I actually don't use the word cunt because it really does feel completely derogatory towards women and I'm not a woman.

That said, it honestly feels like a word that's been less charged. Cunt seems to be pretty common in some European countries and as such I doubt people care as much. Either way, there's a large difference between cunt and racial slurs.
