This is awesome.
GG streamers.
Listen, he should obviously apologize, no doubt. Can anyone here honestly say they've never said anything in a moment of anger that they immediately regretted and didn't truly mean? I watched the clip. It was clear he instantly regretted it and said "I didn't mean that". If this is a common occurrence with him I take it back, but is slipping up once in the heat of the moment enough to warrant destroying someone? This is coming from a guy that worked with a bunch of outright racists who said nigger constantly until I couldn't take it anymore and told all of them never to say that around me again. This pitchfork mob mentality is getting to be a bit much.
edit - I have a bad feeling about the reaction this comment will get. Please don't try to destroy me as well. I'm just trying to have a real conversation.

Dude is 25, not 12. And no, you are not bombarded with it daily. And even if you are, it's pretty simple not to use it.Isn't "nigga" a word the white youth is bombarded within Hip Hop daily? I'm not using it and i'm not in the "hood" scene, but i think theres still a difference how you use this word, or am i wrong?
He uses the heat of the moment, worst word he could think of excuse. Well... see you all in three months with the next "slip up".
This is my real and only account and if you knew me the idea that I'm a racist would be ridiculous.

I mean, you're not, but i'll ask you the same question I've asked everyone else who came to this thread with this mindset.
How many times should he be allowed to say racial slurs on stream in front of millions before it's a problem? Because this is like the 5th time. Hell, it's the second time THIS MONTH.
When does it stop being a slip and start being emblematic of a larger issue?
Lmaaaaaaaaaaao
I've never used a racial slur in the heat of anger. You don't accidentally use the N-word.
Yeah well you've come in caping for a racist so you know...This is my real and only account and if you knew me the idea that I'm a racist would be ridiculous.
Wow, he literally went with "When I hear players using that word". I stopped right there. Not hearing that shit.
You might if you are a young and impressionable kid surrounded by people who do use those words.
This does not excuse PDP in any way, but some people in this thread act like everyone was raised in a liberal progressive environment and has to go out of their way and make a conscious decision to be racist. This isn't always the case, there are kids being raised in homes where this kind of talk is normal.
you should tell all the people still using it to demean black people that it's outdated

Most of my black and Haitian friends don't care and their reaction is usually "really? that's the best you got?"

This is the only account I've ever had on this site. I'm more of a reader.
Ok, I didn't realize this. He's clearly an ass. Why weren't the other times in the news? The only other thing I saw was the Jew parody crap that I thought was just trying to be "edgy" comedy. I always thought he was an untalented hack and never understood the popularity.
He didn't once give a snicker or funny look or make a joke?! Well that's new.
Seems pretty genuine.. ? Or maybe not.
But why is he still making nazi jokes tho?

I just want people to know what happened. I was having a really bad day. Didn't get much sleep, twitch wouldn't work for 2 hours after I woke up, and once it finally did, my internet was lagging. So I was pretty upset from the moment I woke up.
Then I get into a game against a widowmaker who is blatantly cheating. Everything was whatever, I've dealt with cheaters before, but when him and his entire team, and MY entire team start talking shit, it gets to me. I snapped. This isn't the first time this has happened. I have anger problems.
The only thing I can say is that despite me using that word, I am not a racist. I was extremely upset, and I was trying to make the person I was angry with upset as well, and so I said the most offensive thing that came to mind.
I fucked up, I have no excuse. Toronto Esports is a great organization and I am sorry to them for tarnishing their name. I've put my entire life into gaming/esports and this has been a massive wake up call.
He said that when he hears other people use that kind of of language that he finds it immature and stupid. I don't really see anything wrong with that?
Of course whether you think he's sincere in that or not is another matter. But I don't see how saying that could be considered bad?
There is nothing sincere about his apology, he essentially put the blame on the gaming community and not himself for being a racist bigot.well what do you know. a seemingly sincere apology. Lets hope he sticks to his word and this isn't just lip service.
Not to mention it took him 2 dyas
Seems pretty genuine.. ? Or maybe not.

How about this ask your why your first response to come to the defence of, aand damage control for a situation you clearly know nothing about? That's not a normal first response. If a person in a Nazi costume goes "kill all jews" my first response isn't to go on a message board and say "maybe it's a halloween costume and he's saying it as a joke guys!".
The normal first response is to not saying anything and wait for a more complete picture.
This is what I was looking for. I didn't realize he said it more than once and seemed not to regret it by saying no one watching cares. At the end of the day though, do you really think this outrage is going to change him or anything at all? I know everyone thinks the "you're giving it more power than it deserves" is a cop out, but it's true. That's also why I refuse to say "n-word" imo it's childish and only strengthening the power of an outdated stupid racist slur.
This seems old? He made a video a while ago after charlottesville saying he was done with all of that dumb shit.
