I'm totally out of the loop.
Wasn't he that youtube dude produced by some Disney subsidiary?
I just don't get why celebrities, especially one who's trade is to stream videogames would ever throw their hat in anything political or social. What's your motivation? Just shut up, make your videos and cash checks.
WSJ wrote an article about when he dressed up as Hitler and it snowballed. Disney (I think) cancelled the show they were planning with PewdiepieDidn't he lose a TV show deal over something else?
I await h3h3's defense video. I'd love to be proven wrong though.

Makes no sense how he would defend him knowing the videos he creates and his wife's origins.
Children watch this.
Children watch this and think, "Oh, I didn't realize that."
I've come to realize lately that racists will never die off, sexists will never die off, bigots and hate mongers and the protectors of the privileged status quo will not die off. They just keep breeding. They keep being told they're right and they stick to the same little corner of the internet where nothing could possibly challenge that.
I used to have so much faith in the inevitable march of progress. Ha.
*sighs, defeated*

People defended the hell out of him the last time. It will be the same again.

We've made it, what, 200,000 years with homo sapiens not being to separate themselves from racism, hate, violence, etc. I'm starting to think it's hard wired into our DNA.Children watch this.

I await boogie saying we should meet him half way on women being stupid.
Where are all his defenders now? I remember that thread of many people on this forum defending him and acting like he was just innocently ignorant or some shit like that.
I batted for Felix before. I regret it now.
I really thought he'd realise and make a change after last time.
If I had the choice to get millions from Disney for relatively simply routine every second day or so or have the ability to make anti-semitic jokes and (kinda?) defend sexist people, I'd probably not choose the later.
But I guess too much money just makes people stupid.
Didn't stop him throwing in with Jon Tron. H3H3 is a hypocritical piece of shit too.
Yep. His stans will dance for him as much as he needs too, which is why he'll never want for money or sponsorship.
I remember reading an article that it's very common among those working at Silicon Valley to be strict with how much exposure their children have to tech because they understand it's dangers first hand (Steve Jobs famously never let his kids use an iPad iirc)There's a generation of kids being raised on Youtube and Twitch. I worry about that.
Isn't he still making tons off YouTube?Guess he accepted his career tanked so he went full Alt-right.
Broadly, youtube celebrities reacting to stuff and giving their perspective on it is a thing. Positively, it can shine the spotlight on an issue and get their fandom involved to address it - see how DeFranco's involvement really rallied people against DaddyOFive. But it can also lead to results like this where the celebrity tries to reveal the 'truth' about a seemingly, obviously bad thing. PDP in particular has a problem since he's been pushed into the anti-mainstream media crowd, so I would wager like he's got a kneejerk reaction to assume that as the comments couldn't be as bad as they're presented, despite his claims that on first viewing it he was appalled as anyone reasonable should be. Add in that he gets brownie points from the alt-right crowd when he says stuff like this, and yeah...

Fifty bucks says he's one of those "Sweden is a Caliphate now" types. Who sees a Somali man on the street and thinks horrible shit.
