Although the studio previously said they have no exclusive deal with Sony, PlayStation has now confirmed that Phantom Blade Zero will be a console exclusive for 12 months.

The note at the end of the official release date trailer states: "Also available on PC. Not available on other consoles until at least 12 months after release date." This means that if the game eventually comes to rival platforms like Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch 2, those versions would likely arrive after September 9, 2027, once the timed exclusivity window has expired.

Seems Sony is taking a page out of Microsoft's book:

The game looks great, but definitly a PC game for me. These kind of games need high fps, and I want all details and eye candy, as it looks to be quite a pretty game.

It's on a PC. That's what we like to see, so on a PC our purchase shall be. The game does have Denuvo, unfortunately. How else are we going to play it! On a side note, CCP is about to speed run being the numba wan cultural and economical supapowa in the world through selling us quality vidya. Pretty BASED strategy, honestly.

Same with Pragmata. Zero mention of Xbox for years. Turns out it's a launch title. And Switch version just announced days ago.
With that game, a lot of that sounds like Capcom failed some obligation regarding its development timeline or something, for all we know, Sony was funding it under the impression of a certain release window, if they failed to meet it, its likely why they dropped its support or something. Capcom may have had to pay out of that deal or something.

But the fact that is started that way, yet delay, after delay, we see it on many platforms, tells me what ever deal they did have, wasn't for some Deep Down type everlasting development shit lol

Pragmata was confirmed for Xbox Series since 2020.

It's another case like Stellar Blade. I think this was known right? Not sure now.
It's completely different to Stellar Blade. Stellar Blade is much more akin to, say, Bloodborne.
This was expected since Sony help in the games development and funding. I think the games was also part of the Sony China Hero program.
It is not.
Sony partially funded the project. This was Mr. Shu's last service.

Pragmata was never exclusive since the start. But switch2 is a surprise maybe because of strong market of switch 2 in Japan just like what had happened to Re9. Of topic: Well hopefully switch 2 can handle pragmata decently.
