It would be hilarious if they pulled in Kyle from HardOCP to come in midway through the interview.
I fully expect somthing to happen as the it will be on AoTS.

I will watch this failure with great anticipation.

Kyle is an angry texan who was sued by Phantom & co. for slander. He countersued and won the case.

I got a free T-Shirt from the company last year at E3, without asking for it or anything like that of course. Currently the sleeves are gone and I use it to wear while I cut the grass.

So that's good at least, I guess.

I have that shirt, too. "I believe," it says.

I do believe!

(Not really.)

I think its a proper fit

The wannabe console that is doomed to suck will be covered by a wannabe channel which is doomed to suck. Neither belong in their respected industries.

And with any luck they'll both be canceled.

Hopefully at the same time.

LOL, I know, E3 shirts dominate my closet. I don't even want them anymore, but the PR folks shove them into my bag themselves these days.

It's okay, I do cut a lot of grass. And occasionally I will get that shirt that I'll actually want to wear to work or in public, so that's good, too. :)

Kevin Bachus' Phantom, SW: Revelations, Lightweight Notebooks
Episode #5089

Infinium President Kevin Bachus arrives to give us a tech demo of the elusive Phantom gaming console, a device announced several years ago that promises to offer on-demand PC games--but was mysteriously missing from this year's E3 convention. Shane Felux, producer and director of the incredible fan film "Star Wars: Revelations," reveals how he put together such a polished movie. We also visit the Kinetic Sculpture Races, in which human-powered works of art (like a giant chocolate eclair) compete. And we round up hernia-saving notebook PCs to see which is best. Plus, we've got some Real Deals, and Sarah uncovers more Gems of the Internet.

This is a live show right? I wonder if they'll take live calls? Hmm.... :)

Does this confirm Infinium Labs is nothing but a scheme to take money from unsuspecting venture capitalists and shut down without releasing a product?

Ok, most important thing first, that girl with the shirt is cute as fuck, who is she?

Now, with that issue out of the way, I haven't been looking forward to an Aots episode since, well never. This interview seems like it's gonna be hilarious, I hope Kevin doesn't kill it with his dumbass jokes. This is the Phantom for christ's sake, the jokes will make themselves!

If they pull the rug from under Kevin during the show it'll be one of the most awesome live TV events of self-ownage in geekdom. :lol

PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN! :D

Pereira probably won't go easy on him. I'm looking forward to watching it later tonight. I <3 TiVo!

Attack of the Show is good nerd TV. People really ought to tune in.

Ah, yes. I remember that HardOCP article thing. It was a damn good read.

This character from Infinium Labs is such a fraud. I can't believe G4 actually takes this whole Phantom thing seriously!

I've never seen AoTS so I have to ask, is it a call in show like the old Screen Savers? If so... I'm assuming you know what I'm thinking...

Supposedly it is, but there have been reports that the "callers" are just G4 staffers posing as callers asking predetermined questions.

No, it's not a call-in show. They do very little call-in stuff. If you have G4, just turn it the hell on at 7PM. Each day's replay is also on at midnight.

Just a reminder that the Phantom will be on set in about 15 minutes and that they are getting ready for the live demo as we speak.

I think I just saw some secret video of Phantom's design team on G4:

"Uh oh, better hurry up, boss is coming in"
"Dude, I almost got it"

That was an entirely underwhelming presentation.
"I hear you're a fan of Ninja Turtles, so here's an icon of it in the menu!"

What a crock, he didn't even try playing it to show us it's more than smoke and mirrors. :lol

"Ok the game is ready...and thats all for this part of the show! Thanks for showing up!"

That was about what I expected. Show off the service a bit, get an idea of the company's philosophy, etc.. I wish the segment went on a little bit longer so that we could have seen the game running.

I'll be honest, the price they listed to download Thief was moderately attractive. $9 for a game that normally sells above $20 is a good deal. It will be interesting to see their pricing structure for current games when it is released.

Why wasn't the system shown at E3?
