This only applies if the history of this game started with the launch on May 2nd, but as a matter of fact, it did not. We had YEARS of Phil and Xbox ambassadors pumping this game up with hype and no one raised any issues - certainly Phil did not step up and call anyone out on the state of the game, so yeah, he's a phony.

Why didn't they fix it pre launch? You know, like maybe release a game already fixed instead of shipping a game at full retail price that is completely fucked?! Phil should get a reward for admitting mistakes and praising his opponents. I couldn't count how many times he done that. He admitted that they released the game in such a bad condition, 3 days after selling the game to everyone for 70 dollars. Didn't anyone play the game 1 week before release? What a great and humble guy!

I think it's time for someone more ambitious to take over the Xbox brand. Gamepass is fine(for players) but Xbox is sinking.

Let's be honest here, even a year's delay wouldn't fix the plethora of problems. The game and its mechanics are flawed down to the very core and it should've been scrapped completely. No amount of polish is going to fix this.

For all that don't know.......this link is of davidjaffe and his play-by-play response to the whole Phil & Kinda Funny interview. It's Jaffe being Jaffe, so expect the cursing. I disagree with his view of Greg Miller's approach to running a network compared to Colin Moriaty (he was cool with both back in the day when they started the Playstation Podcast Beyond).

But his minute-by-minute response is a GOLD MINE!!!! It's great to hear an actual developer respond to Phil in real time. Especially one that created multiple AAA games and also ran multiple full studios both large and small.

Based most reviews even ignoring its technical problems, most people have issues with core gameplay and structure, even they do add 60FPS its not gonna fix the core problem.

Most likely 'management' pushed the 'devs' to luanch the game because xbox has first party whole they wanted to fill but now after backlash 'management' is 'disappointed'. Did devs insisted on launching it? no way, nobody releases thier half backed product if given a chance. Phil's comment that delaying it by few months wouldn't helped it is absured, he is contradicting himself by saying they will continue working on it, working on what? improving the game? why didn't it delayed then?

I think it's safe to say that this game will never be a 9/10. In best case scenario a 7/10 if you're into the genre. This is IF the game had functional ai, polished graphics and performance + a good expansion.
