Only two potential buys for me at launch so far. A $500 price tag for that, and little promise for the near future, has not won me over.

I'm going to stick to my Core Jacket. It may have no sleeves or collar, but it covers the essentials and, hey, I can always by extra sleeves and a furry collar for an extra $100 apiece further down the line, right?

I went to Gamestop today in the knowledge that I just might preorder one of these things. I held strong, though.

Not too strong, of course. I'll probably do it once an official launch list is released and we get some more info on the whole backward compatibility thing.

Madden and Kameo and Perfect Dark and PGR3 are just too much to resist.

My jacket came off at the MTV special, back on just before E3, off halfway through, then back on.

It got burned during the Retard Pack aftermath.

After the new Kameo, Madden, NBA 2K6, PD0, PGR3, Oblivion, etc. media, it's back on for good. I'm deeply concerned that X05 will impact the downpayment I'm saving up for my first house.

Renting now; been out of college working for two years and had kid number two six months ago. We're ready to buy a place in the Jan-March timeframe. We're trying to hold back on big purchases (read: over $200) until after we get the place so we can put as much as possible into a downpayment - and the $550 minimum I'd pay for the 360 plus games is a good chunk.

That said, I'll have one before the end of March, latest. X05 will likely determine how long I can resist (and if I get the promo I'm lined up for next month).

When I realized there's no way the whole system would be $299, I just decided to forget about 360 altogether, as two of my housemates are surely buying it at launch. I'll just rent whatever looks appealing until there's a huge price drop.

Just like the first 'box, waiting on Ninja Gaiden. Nothing else really interests me, though some of the games (NBA 2K6) look amazing from a visual standpoint.
