I didn't understand the whole argument from the start. She wanted a bigger paycheck than what she has been offered. I don't know how much work it takes, but Bayonetta does have a linear story and no dialogue trees, so I really can't understand what she complain about. Other people work hard for a whole month and are still getting paid less. Sure they want to have equal pay, but as I said I don't really think this gig needs her to be 8 hours a day for a whole month in the studio…

Actually, I checked what the original quote from the director was:

It was widely reported as scheduling conflicts, but the quote itself does not say so. Therefore, I do not see any lies from PG's side.
