The Last Of Us Star Bella Ramsey Has A Message For The Haters: “If you hate it that much, the game exists”

Yeah, but Henry isn't suffering the same toxic shit she faces on a daily basis. He'd be crashing out too in her position. People are absolutely vicious about her looks when she can't so anything about it.
If her statement was about bullying her looks and how is wrong to bully someone like her without mentioning the show or the fans I'll be supportive.. I'll never be supportive to actors who makes millions of dollars telling the fanbse to fuck off and dont watch the show.

Next week the same actor will be in headlines asking why oh why the show was canceled and nobody watched.. stupid entitled people

Sony has no reason not to use her as the model for TLOU PS6 Edition. HBO series is widely beloved. Original model no longer considers herself a woman. There's no reason not to, and it will get old fans to buy the game again.

well i take her advise and i don't watch ss2 anyway, tbf her acting skill in ss1 just mid tier, and joel himself just save the show, knowing how shit happen in ss2 i don't miss much about not watching it

I get that she probably gets tons of people complaining about her, but it's hard for me to give a shit about actors that make money off this.

All of these shows coast off being adaptations of shit that's popular already because these studios can't make something on their own that's good enough.

Unfortunately for them, story in Last of Us 2 also sucked vs 1, so the decline was predictable even if they followed the template. The Last of Us 2 is Matrix: Reloaded, it's got better fight scenes (or gameplay mechanics), but the story gets up its own ass being inferior to the better original.

Why is every TLOU related thread one big hate-circle-jerk? I mean, I know why, it's just weird, especially when you consider the average age group of this place. Do better, GAF.

I like both the games and the show, I just think we could do without having to watch her finger her girlfriend in a movie theatre. I ain't no prude and you can finger whoever you want to finger, it's just always a stupid moment in these kinds of shows, no different than Maggie and Glenn thinking zombies trying to kill us all is a good time to fuck and have a kid. I don't know if I could get turned on knowing there are zombies and other monsters roaming about with a high interest in ending my life.

………

Fuck it, if I'm gonna die, I'm going out with several bangs.

Money entered the account, she doesnt give a shit about the product she was part of. Great way to promote your work…If i was the producer i would fire her next day if she would talk like that about the movie.

I expected changes in the show that differs from the game.

They just followed the game 🫠

I like that they did that, I'm not a big fan of taking a story that's right in front of you that people like and changing it.

I wish they'd do this with Resident Evil….the closest they got was with the Welcome to Raccoon City movie. The problems that movie had included some very questionable casting choices (Leon and Jill….wtf…..) and that they stupidly condensed RE1 and 2 together, making it a rush job. If they just focused on part 1 it would have been less of a mess. Other than that, the other movies are dumb as fuck and the Netflix show was one of the worst things I've ever seen.

I've been thinking for ages about how I would do a series and this is my breakdown:

Season 1 - More of an introductory season where you get to know all the members of the S.T.A.R.S team (especially since most are dead by the time you reach them in the game and others you hardly get time with), have them do a few little missions so the audience gets what they do and I'd end the season with them just about to step foot in to the Spencer estate.

Season 2 - the events of RE1.

Season 3 - the events of RE2.

Etc.

I love that that followed the events of the Last of Us games right down to lines straight from the games while adding just a bit of their own ideas to it. I don't want garbage like the RE Netflix series that thought a black Wesker with random children and a stupid ass story they made up, I'd prefer they follow the game in general.

"So no, I just don't really engage."

If that were really the case, she wouldn't have commented on it at all and certainly not with a statement that, if I were the producer, I wouldn't be happy to see. But I do understand it: such a reality check must be really tough. For months she only heard things like "you are awesome" and "you nailed it" from friends, family, coworkers, and colleagues. And then suddenly the internet comes in with the truth, along with trolls and haters. What used to be an environment of 100% positivity suddenly turned into one where only a small fraction of it remains.
