People give Drueckmann all the blame for the series being bad, but if you look at who directed the worst episodes, it was Craig Mazin.

I am starting to think that maybe just maybe Drueckmann is getting too much blame and Mazin is not getting enough,

Nah I'm generally shitting on the story for Part 2, game included. Season 2 was terrible due to highly questionable deviations from the game and Bella Ramsey having the charisma and personality of a plank of wood. Probably down to Maizin idk, either way S2 was terrible outside a few good action scenes in and around Jackson.

If they stayed the course it might have been received better but after episode 2 to 3 people clocked out anyways.

I just replayed both games over the summer. Both are still in my all time top 10.

Season 1 of the show was okay, even though she's a bad fit for the character. With the evolution in Season 2, it was obvious she was going to be even more out-of-place. Add to that they cast someone as Abby who didn't look like the game at all and I have no interest in it.
 
Perfectly fine to tell people to not watch something they don't enjoy watching just like it's fine to be disappointed the show didn't turn out the way you want it. It's all that stuff past "reasonable discourse" where people find every nitpick they can to hate on just for the sake of hating. "Just walk away" is one of the healthiest mindsets one could have that many chronically online could benefit from instead of trying to outdo each other for hottest take.
 
Part 3 must fix Abby's amateur behavior as well as other rotten apples in the story. Joel went through shit then held accountable for others wrong doings. It only made him stronger and unforgettable.
 
There is a difference between saying an actor doesn't fit a role or isn't acting well, and personal attacks. Personal attacks say more about the poster than the subject of the attacks.

Personally I think she doesn't fit the role and S2 wasn't imo well acted by her. At least as far as being true to the source material.

But some people really need to take her advice and switch off, must be hard work hating people all the time. Haters are truly unattractive people, a bit of an irony when they spend their time saying others are unattractive etc.
 
Something can be both true and a foolish thing to say. Telling your audience they don't have to watch the show -which you are literally in the business of getting them to watch- seems like a good example of that. They will already have a difficult enough task getting people to watch S3 without antagonising them.

It's not that difficult and costs nothing to give a graceful answer to a question you know is coming.

I'll be honest, Bella Ramsey is a terrible actress. I never watch game of thrones so not sure about that show, but just from the one episode I saw the other people in it were 10x better acted.

As much as people make fun of the intergalactic chick in the game trailer, she played her scenes well getting chased by Bella.

She plays the role so shallow and weird like she doesn't belong in it while the other people put up believable acting in a zombie apocalypse kind of world.

She had a very minor and very short role that kinda "fitted" her looks and age at the time ... her hire for this show had absolutely nothing to do with her being the best actress to faithfully represent the character, they had other "priorities" in mind and acting also was not one of them.

I would bet that this was one more dogshit push by the great mind of Cuckman.

The only thing you can blame him is probably bad casting choices, the story itself specially the downfall in season 2 was already there for anyone to see. He cant be blamed twice for the same dogshit "season/game 2" story.

I personally know a lot of people that didnt play the games but watched the show... HBO is a very premium and awarded channel so their series attracts a lot of different viewers. And I'll say even more, people that hate the game like me wont even touch the show to hate on that, the "haters" are probably people that really liked the game and are unsatisfied with the series and people that didn't play the games at all.

Yeah, but Henry isn't suffering the same toxic shit she faces on a daily basis. He'd be crashing out too in her position. People are absolutely vicious about her looks when she can't so anything about it.
