I for one welcome 3rd person games making a comeback. Back in the 2005-2015 period, almost every other game was a FPS.

smh no it wasn't….

People who like single player games are the whiniest gamers of all time. When a studio decides to multiplayer game they go nuts and it's absolutely ridiculous.

I wish we would get more multiplayer pvp games and tactical mil sim level shooter from a big publisher….

I like a mixture, but I think people feel more connected to the characters in 3rd person games and that's why a lot more of gaming's iconic characters come from 3rd person games. Of course there are some beloved first person characters as well, but not nearly as many.

At this point you have to wonder if it is worth Sony/Insomniac finishing these slices off for PS5 as episode demos and offering them in a MGS5 GZ offering, so that they can monetise the leaked content, drawing a line under the damage the leak has done and get back to making the game.

Even finishing the slices off and giving them away as free demos on PS5 to PS+ subscribers would potentially go a long way to disarm the leaked slices IMO.
