Oddly enough I'm having the same thing. I'm definitely not high-ranked, and I've never won. I used to be able to kill people occasionally but now almost anyone I shoot at, burst or single, ends up spinning, turning, and killing me in a single burst fire. The endgame screen typically gives me about 7 for the "hit" category so I guess the game thinks I'm barely touching anyone, even with ironsights / close range?

So the creator just said exclusive on the conference, but the video was prefaced by "launch exclusive".
I still believe that it'll come to the PS4 eventually, but they really should clear that up.
All things being available, which guns should i be using? I sometimes run past all the AR's and tend to stick to the akm/m16 combo, but I see streamers tend to favour the scar and some ignore the akm altogether.

There's no way it's not on PS4 (accompanied with a trailer at their conference to build hype) within a year.

AFAIK AKM does the most damage, all the other ARs do the same amount but have different spread and firerate.
I usually stick to AKM/Whatever AR I can get and a pump shotgun, unless I get a sniper then I keep an AR instead of the shotgun.

The animations look surprisingly good, much better than anything else in the game lol.

Alters the entire game. So many more places to hide, move too, and ways to escape an encounter if you get caught in a building.
I can only say that, for me, it has very very high highs, when you drop, you are often surrounded by people and having to make very quick decisions or you will die, a bit of luck is needed to find weapon spawns but its very much quick fast action, decisions matter, timing matters. Then the game slows down and becomes weaker as the opening people have died and you are generally looting, going from place to place trying to up your gear for end game. End game is incredible because, like early, every decision matters, timing matters, one bad move, one bad shot, game over.
I havent played a game in ages that was so tense in the early and end game.
It's implemented the "Battle royale" genre extremely well, as they were one of the first developers to do the idea (even though it was as an Arma mod). It has realistic controls, shooting, etc, but is also still fun. It's very intense to play, especially with a group. I'd highly recommend giving it a shot.l

All of this sounds great. One of the only other huge things I really want is better client performance since I have to play on Very Low and I still have stutter. I hope there's still room for improvement there.

My favorite AR is the M4. Couldn't explain why but I seem to be playing better with it than with the other guns.
Yeah, reminds me of the replays of the Mario catching game on Nintendoland.
Seeing everyone's circles all over the place would be fun.

Feel like there must be something wrong with my 'net. Guy is 10 ft away, standing still while aiming at somebody else and I shoot twice with a choked double-barrel, both torso, no blood splats from either.
Unless the shots are curving once they come out of the gun it was impossible to have missed those shots from the point of view of my client. There were no obstructions between us either so it wasn't a case of the shots going into a crate/window frame.

I did military/school/george drops for a week just to mix things up and while its fun, I can't help but enjoy starts where i go off the path and get looted then play mid/endgame. The chances of dying to guns not loading in and only getting a pistol/smg against a shotty can make busy drops more trouble than they're worth.
Man, I'm looting the crater all alone when a crate drops near me. M24 + 8x and some goodies. Perfect. While I'm making my way to the 2nd circle another unchallenged crate drops right next to me. AWM. I ditch the M24 and keep running. I'm finding no cars so I just have to keep outrunning the circles without ever having met another player. When I finally do, I kill him and die to the fucking circle. Game can be so frustrating sometimes.
