My friends used to just say "to the left" or "to the right" which was super frustrating back when you couldn't see where they were facing on the map. Callouts are an art that a lot of people could work on, myself included.

Dying right at the beginning of the round because just when I was about to make a jump punch the animation of my designated victim just went to pick up a pistol when I was in my leap. At least it was a quick round for me...

The pistols need a buff. They are so stupid underpowered. I put 4-5 good shots into someone and he turns around and 1 shots me with a shotgun.

The past 3 days I've had the worst luck/skill/events with this game. I like to dive into crowded areas sometimes, but this is ridiculous. Multiple jumps into buildings with no weapon for 5 mins.. and then die. Land next to a guy, I grab the shotgun, he grabs a pistol, I die. Over and over. I think I need a break. :)

edit: And again. Jesus, it's like everyone is incredible in this game now.
edit edit! Fuck! Seriously! LOL it's almost comical now.

Honestly, hiding is the name of the game. Even watch streamers who are aggressive... They often admit that being aggressive is not the way you win games. So, if your playing solos, you'll get a lot of random deaths. You can't take this game very seriously or you'll be in emotional turmoil lol.

I've been stuck in this loop before. Be strong, brother.

Wrt to those shotgun encounters, get them to shoot first. They'll get stuck in that reload/pump animation giving you the opportunity to papapapapapapap and drop them.

I do my share of hiding, but sometimes I love the fray of the group rush for weapons. I expect a quick death, just not on that scale of a run of bad luck. Seems to have ended though, thank fuck.

Have some friends who want me to get this game. My system is outdated. i7 860 with a Radeon HD 6850 8 gigs of RAM. Any chance it runs on low/medium settings?

After 35 hours I don't know if I'm playing this because I find it fun, or because I'm trying to make money off the crates. The last 20 or so deaths I've had we're so BS that I just find myself doing it for the points. Hopefully I can make my money back that I spent on the game.

I was in a match last week where I was in and out of eleven houses before I came across a vest or a backpack. Not immediately finding a primary weapon is actually less annoying to me, because every time the first circle is so randomly far away from the entire flight path, I'm sprinting for three and half minutes (which is honestly boring) and not really getting shot at, so a pistol is fine until I start looking for something better within the circle. Also had a match were there were twelve vertical AR grips between three houses, no AR to be found. It frequently gets boring before the second circle contraction and ~40 players being left. Still a weird number of people dying from not outrunning the blue wall of death, or engaging in three way shootouts while it is approaching. I haven't looked at the math of kills vs. survival for battle points (I've always gotten way more points for being in the top ten then getting three or four kills and dying in the 40's) but it seems like some people just want two kills and don't care if they die early.

I got it from GMG so once I've sold $22 worth of shit, I'll be break even. I'm not finding it compelling to play on its own merits either.

Took a chance on this game. Plays ok with my gtx 670 low/med settings.

I can see this game being a time sink haha.

Maybe if I keep playing this the money I save buying games can goto a new gpu.....what I'll tell the wife anyway haha

Just came in 2nd for first time, in FPP no less. I lost the final mindgame in the final circle when he leapt up from behind me and sprayed my prone back with an uzi.

But better than that I made my first real intermediate level play. I had an assault rifle and was in circle, so I took time to find elevated and covered position near rim. Found a body, put a few center mass at 100m+ with AKM in single fire mode by leading my target.

Do I basically just save up SR, buy crates and sell the crates on the Steam marketplace? I will have to go to the marketplace itself and put it up for sale there right?

Damn it, I had a great snap shot on a bike driving through the north apartments in Georgopol that I missed because Shadowplay is stupid and bound disabling Shadowplay to Shift + the record keys.


Then I died in Top 10 because I was trying to take out a guy in a building who was not very good and was clearly going to just jump or slowly walk down the steps, but a sniper decided to keep shooting only at me even though the dude sat on the roof in the open the whole time.

Thats still very decent system other than GPU, just upgrade GPU + overclock that CPU and you can run the game decently.
SSD would help a TON too with everything outside game too if you dont have 1 already.

After trying out the game for real tonight, I have a new appreciation for streamers on how they loot ... which is really freaking fast. I was trying to loot as fast as possible myself but I stumble upon all those buttons. I've had the dreaded situation of "everything I need for snipers but a scope" ... two times in a row. I probably should look up on high-density zones to get used to looting because it is more awkward than it looked at first. Got a positive kdr over three games which isn't saying much but I'm happy with it.
