I'm trying to sell a key on the marketplace now but it's not showing up in my inventory.
You need to wait a week to sell it.I'm trying to sell a key on the marketplace now but it's not showing up in my inventory.
The river looked so thin on the map. I thought at high speed I could possibly coast through and avoid the bridge trolls. I was wrong.
I want someone to make a chill exploration / scavenger hunt / whatever mod. Basically the looting and nice scenery but without the constant existential dread.Cruising down the river on my boat, minding my business, shot in the side of the head. Rude.
This made me laugh for some reason, imagining you casually driving through in high speed only to nose dive haha. Oh man, I feel for ya. ^_^The river looked so thin on the map. I thought at high speed I could possibly coast through and avoid the bridge trolls. I was wrong.
It's funny you mentioned this because I literally died tonight due to looting.I think that the way carry capacity is handled is really boring. After the first backback you don't need to think wht to grab anymore. Looting feels lot more involved when doing challenges where you don't pick up a backpack.
I just love doing this:

You say that, and here I am with a level 2 or level 3 backpack and full to the brim with items and still needing to pick more up. I usually try to carry about 150-200 bullets for my two main weapons and share with my pistol type to one of my mains. That leaves me with space for about 4-5 first aids, maybe a med kit and about 3-6 stims of variety.
Honestly, the ammo is in no way enough especially towards the beginning where you are spending so much trying to nail people. I've found multiple times I'm unable to hold extra scopes when I desperately want to. I usually stick a red dot on my pistol and SMG and go for an AR with a 4x/8x but like to keep a spare to swap to my AR for CQC.
You are carrying way too much ammo and attachments. Bandages also takes a lot of space so cut that down to like 5-10 maximum. You never need 300-400 bullets, 100-150 for your "spray weapon" and 50-60 for your long range weapon is more than enough for anything.
God no, not with UMP and AR's at the start. You can so easily chew through a clip in seconds because any bullet in them is better than you dying. And I don't even bother with bandages, and sometimes not even a pistol with the current damage output. I usually try to stick with SR bullet count at max 100 so when running sniper build I have more space but for the most part I'm hitting it pretty hard on the limit. I'd rather have more than less and get caught out.
I don't get it...
Is this video supposed to be treating this like some way to elude campers?
All I see is two guys laying prone went AFK at the wrong time.
100 SR bullets? What are you gonna do, hold down the fire button for 15 minutes? With a bolt action you need like 30-40 shots
You don't need that much ammo because you loot people you kill, and if you can't loot them you probably shouldn't kill them. Always keep a hefty amount of free space available for quick looting of meds. Never run around with full inventory. So many people get caught looting because they have to fiddle with inventory space when grabbing scopes and meds of other people. Don't be that guy
Edit: Like I am also guilty of carrying too much ammo but I have severely cut down on looting ammo because it takes a lot of space and you will not use all of it anyway. As long as you can get like 150 rounds for your main spray weapon you are golden.
Edit again: Though I guess we should preface this discussion with what gamemode we typically play. I pretty much only play squads or duos and are trying to cut down on all the shit i carry. Also smoke grenades takes a LOT of space but are very useful so gotta keep that grenade count to something sensible too.
That's what I was saying, my goal is to have that ammo by the time it comes to third circle so I don't have to worry about looting and putting myself in danger. Obviously every game is different, I've won some with barely any ammo and scrounging as I go and others I've been complete on my build. I just like to aim for that end amount because I know at that point I am gravy and can focus on infiltrating without worry on loot, hopefully catching out those who are.
The biggest addition to the game through vaulting will be maneuverability, because at this current stage if you are stuck behind a wall and there isn't any reachable gaps by either walking through of jumping over comfortably you can't change the encounter. With vaulting and proper climbing you'll be able to (and your enemy) jump over walls or scale buildings allowing for verticality where there currently is none or very limited amounts.Looks cool, although I'm not really sure what this is gonna add. I like the current crouch jump mechanic to jump through windows or reach higher barriers. It adds some depth to the movement.
Being able to climb the higher walls could be useful though, looking forward to trying it out.
PUBG isn't a particularly fast paced game so what they showed off in that video is easily fast enough to outmaneuver another player even during a fight. In urban areas anyway.Åesop;246099306 said:Climbing and vaulting needs to be really fast to make it a viable move in active combat. I don't see them doing that. So in the end it will be a high risk, high reward mix-up move

So you kinda can, you just have to aim the car down in order for the wheels to touch the floor. I've made it through the river this way a few times. You have to be going fast too
I think that's a bad example. You need to be a lot faster if you're gonna rush a camper - if they weren't AFK or whatever they were doing, you'd be dead.
Am I the only one met with this window when trying to buy a key for the gamescom crate?
Came second. Could smell the chicken damn it. Got 2 pretty satisfying kills though. Was a great match. Just could not see where the last guy was.
I look forward to getting a new PC at the end of the year where i can have the game run a bit better as well.
There was a guy I don't remember where that managed to get on top of a row of containers before I finished him off so I couldn't get to his loot box sadly. I couldn't waste time looking around and how he could get up there. It was beside a big hangar. He got there pretty quickly.
