Sometimes when I'm being shot my aim just gets thrown off completely, what causes this? It doesn't happen very often, then when I die my camera is all shaking.
...being shot. It's a thing in shooters.
OK I get you're trying to be funny, but as I said it's not often and I get shot plenty. It's not normal for the camera to shake like that.

I get destroyed if anyone spots me in the water. Your head can still be sniped.
*edit* I've asked before but is there a trick to running and shooting? I've had someone run past a doorway and instakill me with an AKM headshot before, and just now I had someone run around a building at full speed and headshot me with a P1911.
There wasn't stopping, they just ran full speed (or whatever the speed is short of sprinting) and continued on afterwards. If you miss the first shot against someone in water, they're now practically invincible for however long breathing lasts and you don't know exactly where they'll come up.
The running shit can just be luck or they stop long enough to ADS you.
Different guns have different impact values causing different levels of aimpunch. It's also obviously more noticeable if you're scoped in at higher magnifications.

Both times I've found the MK14 rifle I believe haven't seen a single person and have died before ever firing a shot. Next time I pick it up I need to shoot it once just so I know what it feels like.

I'm still really curious to know what mode had that 17-kill game. In solo FPP I dropped in Pochinki and have seen literally no one since the first 20 seconds of the match to the point where 32 people are alive. Everyone just sits in buildings and once every 2-3 minutes you hear a Kar98k kill someone in one shot.
That's the thing, I don't see how to hunt on the drop path unless I really should go building to building in Pochinki, in which case I'm extremely likely to die to someone in a corner with an AR or shotgun, or to whoever else hears my shots nearby. Is it really best to just practice building pushes? In which case, should I run or walk? Even walking makes noise, and any time I've tried to push in I've come straight against someone already crouched and aiming at the door with an AR.If you hunt players based on the plane drop path, it's not hard to get around 5~ and higher kills that way. If you play the last few circles correctly, getting 10~ kills all in that span of time is pretty doable. It's not uncommon to make it to last 20-30 alive on closing circles and just triple your kills.

Last game, I saw 2 vehicles speed by in the mid distance. The first actual human I saw killed me within half a second of me seeing them. They were crouching in a building, with 12 alive. I didn't find a soul before that outside a building.

New Highlights for Week 22-23 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VvB6Hb9WxWY
That's what I'm saying, the plane path covers a bunch of high-building areas such as Pochinki (and I'm advised to hunt the plane path for high kills and high aggro play). Because the circle stays on the high-building areas for 15-20 minutes, those people have no motivation to leave their buildings, and thus I never see them. You don't really wanna push buildings. If you know people are prolly held up in some place, just picking a safe spot where you can catch them moving to circle or peeking is fine. In an ideal scenario you want to get to areas where you can catch people moving as quickly as possible so they don't make it into buildings. The way the circles tend to play out means you rarely ever are forced to push buildings to find people.
The name of the game is mostly predicting how people are going to move around the map and just being in spots where they're going to cross you at a disadvantage.
I'm not sure if you saw my earlier posts, but I play about 97% FPP, which is where I've seen all of the aforementioned camping.stop playing TPP. People will always see you before you see them, if your new. Play FPP and enjoy.
None of those people posted here. The highlight video also had montages of people getting shotgun or revolver kills at great ranges, but I don't expect that to happen very often. Since someone posted here and I'm constantly getting games where I'm lucky to see 1-2 people, I wanted to ask how I can change this. Its funny how you are discussing a 17 kill game when the last 4-5 of the hilight videos have all ended with montages of people getting 20-30 kills in various game modes.
How exactly do you set it up? I already used the geforce overlay record function but can't for the life of me figure out how to get highlights working.
I tried it but I am using 2 monitors and have discord up on the second monitor while playing (in real fullscreen) and the hilights UI would often appear in the discord window after a match or just lock up completely.
If you go to the Gforce Experience you'll see a list of all the games recognized by it, go to PUBG and click details to set it up. Make sure to select it ingame as well in the Settings menu.
The overlay records your Primary monitor (I have 3 monitors) so make sure the one you game on is correctly set as the primary.
ButtsSo I've noticed that many of the top streamers play female characters.
Do the female character models have a smaller hitbox or something? Or are they harder to see?

So I'm trying to land at the school and other crowded venues to improve my shooting abilities, but I'm always one of the last players to land. I feel like I'm missing some key information about dropping or something. I try and wait until the plane is right overhead of my target drop point, and then I try and jump straight down.
I'm still always last though and miss out on all the guns. I have no idea how other people get there so quickly.

I've been watching streamers like Shroud, Doc, and Ninja...and I just don't understand how they see everyone before they've been seen themselves. It's like they know exactly where to look. And quite frequently, I'll watch them shoot into a field or windows or something and get kills, and I didn't even see anyone on stream. It's just insane...don't know how they do it.
