This patch will be deployed for both clients and servers Thursday, April 13, 5PM KST/1AM PDT/8AM UTC and is expected to take approx. 1 hour to complete.
Config Changes
Fixed configuration files (ini) so that it cannot be used to hide trees, grass, etc.
Prevented adjusting the FOV by changing the game settings file (ini).
FOV will be adjustable from the settings menu in-game in a future update.
Sound
Fixed an issue with door sounds playing at low volume
Adjusted volume of wind, rain, and footsteps
Improved the sounds for the buggy
When in rainy weather, you will now sporadically hear thunder sounds
Bug Fixes
Added more support for non-standard aspect ratios. The game will now display at the correct FOV on aspect ratios ranging from 4:3 to 21:9. Multi-monitor environments such as Eyefinity are not recommended at this time.
Fixed an issue with the compass direction not displaying correctly

We are looking into the connection issues some of you are experiencing. Please bear with us while we resolve them!
What is the currently tickrate of your servers?

This has happened to me as well.
Anyway, great game.
.We're still investigating the connection issues. Next week we'll be opening a test server to better prepare updates before they go live!
Fix the servers! My hair is weird! Slow tickrate! Optimize shit! Sound is broken!
Slow devs! Refunding after 100+h! I know what EA is! Game is broken!
Not my servers but the tick rate to my knowledge is ~40Hz for client > server and ~20Hz for server > client
Nice. Also having two weird issues you may need to look into.
When changing graphics preset, background changes to white.
Also sometimes initial menu doesn't load. Guess has to do something with the servers.
I'm not on the dev team but the white and/or other solid colors as well as being stuck on the church screen is known.
The church issue seem to occur mostly when the game window is out of focus before it starts loading.
Edit: I've corrected my earlier post with new server tick information.
Thanks for the feeeback.
My character suddenly got some horrible hairstyle after the patch. Kinda annoying that I have to spend 3000 points to get rid of it.

This game needs a practice mode, I want to learn how bullet drop/velocity works in this game. I'm missing the easiest shots because I have no clue where to aim.
What it's really saying is "you're too good for these people please queue again for more competition" 😉Lost connection to host...

Shooting range is coming.
I'm considering just going to the gun range while in game and practicing there.
I've tried the latter option a few times and never seem to have all that great of luck. If I or my team see multiple people heading to a location, we'll almost always decide to head somewhere else, unless our numbers are higher in which case we'll stay on course. This happens more than I thought it would in squads, seems ppl like to play those solo as well.Just curious, when you guys start a round, do you specifically go out of your way to drop in somewhere kind of away from the path of the plane to isolate yourself from others? A lot of times as I'm dropping in, if I see someone dropping in on the same cluster of buildings I'm headed to I'll try to veer off into another area. But I wonder if I should hold my ground and gamble that I'll get him before he gets me.
Can your team see a marker if you place it on the map?
