Part of me feels like it'll be delayed to next year somehow, but these days I take delays as a given...

I'm also wary they'll use Version 1.0 as a time to start working on more content to sell. Have they committed to just microtransactions and no paid expansions?

Ran a duo yesterday and my partner left at the very beginning of the match. Made it all the way to the end against another squad (2v1) to get outsniped
FYI, Shooting a SKS and a kar 98 at the same time with both headshots.. the kar will win.

Anyone run into any issues with the game not loading properly? The game loads then just sits there in the church with the "Loading" on the upper left. Checked the gamefiles and everything is ok and I'm able to change settings, but the refresh UI isn't working.

Played a duo game last night with my flatmate, I died when there was around 12 players left. He killed the guy who killed me and had to sprint towards the circle before it caught him, he was getting shot at from behind and got hit a few times to the point where his health was so low you could barely see it, the next four shots all hit his pan before he managed to get in the circle and hide behind a tree. Don't know what happened to the guys shooting him but at this point there were 4 people left and he had no health items. He began slowly crawling towards the circle when I spotted a guy to the left doing the same, headshotted him, 3 left. Heard the other two guys fighting each other up a hill in the circle, he wanted to stay put but I told him to go after them. He then went to the top of the hill just in time to see one of the guys kill the other and just as the last guy turned around he killed him. Winner winner chicken dinner.

Why is he an asshole? I've watched him a bit recently and he seems fine? Mostly plays a really intense character but outside of that, he seems like a nice guy?

As for PDP I don't think you should be banned from a game for saying something in group voice chat WHILE playing said game.

Never watched 1 minute of him or any of the other streamers for that matter. I'm not entertained by people being clowns. But he was banned for team killing and that "death threat" was very obviously a joke. PU came out of it looking very bad, and even used the word "triggered" which was embarrassing. He should have just gave him the deserved timeout for team killing and called it a day.

I saw the DrD defense clip and I'm not sure why he even bothered giving that defense. His main point was that he doesn't think that the out burst made him a full blown racist, which is a stance to take. Then he goes on to draw comparisons between his own "in the heat of the moment" out bursts and PDP's. Which is ridiculous. Nothing the Doc has done or said publically is even close to being on the same level. Plus there is the whole Doc is a character aspect. Stick to playing games Doc. No one is going to you for social commentary.

He said it on an open stream of the game, bad image for the dev plus its in the terms of the game, so no surprise

Most people on dated CPUs (regardless of core count) and 8GB of ram are having some stutter and regular performance issues. This game really is best with new cores, minimum 16GB ram and an SSD. Most people all play with the settings down to hit juicy 60FPS anyways. I run on low/medium with a 1070 to put that into perspective.

Optimization is minor at best I'd say and one of the bigger things that needs to change. That said, you could always buy the game and refund it (Steam) if it doesn't run well.

Yeah, it's pretty clear that this is something he says when he's playing games off-stream on a regular basis, and didn't catch himself before saying it live.

Calling someone the n-word is more than just "streamer drama" in my opinion, especially in the modern American era of racists and neonazis.

The discussion also involves the #1 ingame rule of Battlegrounds, and whether the Battlegrounds creators will ban people for breaking that rule on Twitch, both things that affect everyday players (who use racial slurs either ingame or out of game).

If a mod indicates that we should avoid any talk of these things in this thread I'll stop talking about it of course, but to me the above two factors seem quite generally relevant.

Not playing since the leaderboards reset I think has matched me against some people that seemed a little less experienced, but it did mean back to back wins tonight. 2nd one we were a duo for most the game.

3rd was going well too until we messed up and got sandwiched between 2 teams, Of the 3 teams only 1 guy on our team survived. Quite an action packed few games

I play with the same CPU and a 3 gig GTX 1060, I run it at medium with view distance maxed and vsync on at locked 60 I also have AA set to high.

I mostly run it at medium because it makes it easier to see people, the game auto defaulted me to ultra and when I played a game at ultra it was fine-ish but it was definitely not doing 60.

Bluehole only announced that there would be a new map after leaving early access, or marking the leave of early access. The only other things to come for early access is vaulting, this current new weapon this week, revamped ballistics with penetration, FPP leaderboards and weather effects.

I get what you are saying and you're right...that was kind of trying to have it both ways.

I disagreed with the insinuation that statement made so I put in my 2 cents but also agreed with the other guy that the discussion belonged elsewhere. This is why I usually stay out of the threads with these types of topics. Too easy to get sucked into the back and forths.
