Just installed this on my system. GTX 1070 FTW with a 1080p gsync monitor. Seems very stuttery, even though my monitor says gsync is on. Running in fullscreen. Anyone have any advice to get better performance?

Before i recommended low but its very optimized now and highly recommend Ultra if you can run it. On GTX 1080 TI i cant see any drop in frames going Low to Ultra. Can better determine where to land from airplane as you see all buildings and the game looks more beatiful.
This is bizarre, something like this wouldn't even just be GPU bound (though I'm not sure why someone on a 1080ti thinks their point of reference would be tangible between either setting), it'd be on your hard drive's performance as well as new chunks get loaded.

Proceeded to lose like 8 games in a row (made it to #5 in one and less than 40 in every other) with all very frustrating deaths.
People were playing insanely cunning and i was always wrestling with the controls/camera angle.
Do people usually hip fire or iron sights? I can't work out what's better. Indoors iron sights just seem to cause confusion.
Three deaths tonight were due to iron sight wrestling and shoulder swapping at the last moment.
Pretty funny the light diffraction effect screwed him. Dead either way from that grenade though.
Screwed me.
Are there plans to add more weapons to the game?
The rain does not make any sound anymore for me since the last update. I only hear the occasional thunder

The foliage has actually been fixed so it's the same for everyone. Only far reaching trees and bushes are slightly different on different settings. And are you playing with a headset? Because you can head where the bullets are coming from. This is so odd that actually have GFX settings on low is kind of cheating!!, it reminds me of Far Cry 1 (or was it 2) MP where you would set the graphics to low and all foliage would not be displayed so you might think you were hiding in long grass but in fact your just crouching in open space and easy to see!!, i hope they change this otherwise whats the point of having graphical settings on anything but low as you'll be handicapping yourself!!
I have only just started playing this game and it there no hit indicator to give you a rough idea of where the shots are coming from?, i have been killed many a time without even knowing where i was getting shot from at least if i get killed show me where the player who killed me actually was!
Great game though, just got an update and looks like rain has been added which is nice!

Not sure if you're referring to just this example or not but there definitely is bullet penetration in the game. Got shot more than once through a wooden wall in one of the smaller homes. And of course the doors. There is no bullet penetration.
Yet.

Yes. When your weapon is drawn hit Q or EIs it possible to switch the camera from left shoulder to right shoulder?
love the game...
the loot system is weird though...
i got a pair of pants with my 700 credits... woopie...
and the inventory system is kinda borked... hope they work on that.
10 kills, nice!
Just got down to top 2 for the first time!
Holy crap! What a rush. Definitely trying my best to get there in future. My last few sessions have been more frustrating than fun but that just injected the fun and thrill right back in.
I think a good strategy is:
- play it safe and only engage in combat when you have to
- when you get to the top 15-20 or so, play it quiet and let others fight it out before you move much. Move as little as possible and stay prone
- only swoop in on sloppy seconds/distracted kills
- stay as prone and immobile as possible
