Going by the center dot the first one is barely on the body and the second one is on the backpack which doesn't hurt players. I'm not sure how they handle inaccuracy (you're moving quite a bit) and shotgun spread so it's hard to tell if either shot should've hit or not, though.

That is bloody hilarious, some of the dumb shit that happens in this game.
I've been playing squads with my buddy and his friends lately and by god can that be something else. I haven't sniffed chicken dinner in a long whiles though.

Anyone getting absolute garbage performance since the update? My game hangs when trying to go into my inventory for tens of seconds, plus just general shit performance that was never an issue in the past. Also they gotta fix buildings not loading on or move hit detection server side cause that shit is is broken as all fuck.

Bad aim is bad. You can see how the targeting reticle is expanded in both shots. I just hold down the right mouse button in that situation with a shotgun, there's no need to let it go at all.

Was doing good made it to top 10 and then when driving dacia towards building in circle I hit a small bump and got flipped upside down directly in the open center of circle. Got shot from all sides to death

I misunderstood their Twitter channel. They are doing some sort of reset but the stats will be restored at a later point.
While I agree, (and Im not the person you replied to), its like I NEED a vehicle to make the top 10, but I can't win because of the vehicle, Double edge sword, probably should try ditching the vehicle a little outside the next to last circle.
Aim wasn't great but it's also illustrative of the spread in the reticule being completely off for that range. Most people are under the impression that at a certain range, the pellets will hit within the wider circle. That isn't true until quite a distance, particularly with a choke.

Nah my best option was to go across field in car I had and try to take control of one of the few houses in the zone, the rest of zone was big open with no cover and hills on the sides that I knew had some snipers and I already made noise killing people so I knew they were scoping my way now. Running across would've been certain death. I didn't have a long range scope so didn't want to play those fights but I had a shotgun to clear the house. Too bad car ended up just flipping out of no where.
The circle seemed to be narrowing down to the houses so it would be better to get in there earlier rather than later.
I wanna say it's like 6-7 gigs. Small enough that I put it on my SSD.
If we had a Custom Server, we'd just sit around on GAF and talk about it instead of playing it.

If we got Evilore's blessing than I'd be more than happy to apply for GAF. Though, as much as I like the idea of not third person nonsense, a 24/7 first person server feels like a waste. You have to mix it up with some nonsense like pans & crossbows only. Work on the pan deflection game!
I've won quite a few games, but my favorite match was last night when my whole squad died early on with 70 something people left, yet I managed to stealth my way to a #4 finish with just a shotgun for a while. I hid in a bush as a major fight went on, waited for them to leave and then got a SCAR.
Then I hid in the attic of a house and didn't move at all as people were downstairs fighting and they never bothered to check upstairs since the circle was closing. I went down and looted and somehow found a suppressor. I go outside and kill 2 of them as they're running just to see the circle ended in an open field with the hill on the other side as part of the zone. That's when I knew it was all over...I sneak into the zone just to get shot by an M24 from the hill.
We had a good win last night, but it's the stupid stealth matches that keeps me entertained. If my squad was alive, they would have moved around in the building or shot someone and blew our cover, so it's sometimes nice being able to go at it alone in squads.

Going by the spread shown in Brad's first gif it's understandable why the 2nd shot missed, but the first one not landing at all seems kinda absurd.

They said it would happen once it left Early Access. As of yet, nothing has changed on their approx expected date for that to happen.

By points, you mean currency? All your stuff/inventory is set. Leaderboards are already getting reset before EA is up.

Had a buddy fire a few rounds into a pan on me the other night just to test and sure enough it deflected the bullets. There's absolutely no reason not to hang one of these on your rear.
I'm glad I watched that mythbusters video, otherwise I'd never even bother grabbing one.

Pan basically won me my first solo game today.
5 left, it deflects a Kar98 round as I'm almost dead. Go on to win the game. Praise pan.

Man, I've had such a boring run of games. Probably 5 matches in a row where I spawn in, get some good gear and then proceed to simply run half way across the map not encountering a single person and barely even hearing gunfire until I'm left in the top 10 to 20 and die from attrition as I'm chasing the blue wall/shield thing.
Shotguns feel so good in this game sometimes, and so does trapping people in water.

It happens sometimes, I just played one solo game and it was great, killed a bunch of people and got in the top 10, but yesterday I couldn't even get to top 50s, I just take a break after a few underwhelming matches.
I've never tried, can you shoot people when they're underwater?
