Pre-TGS show was awesome, TGS did suck. But I don't remember if anybody asked yosp about the pre-TGS show...
Well, to be fair, TGS was kinda sucky (huh Presenter aside). All of that great games announcement for PS4 (Lily Bergamo, Yakuza Ishin, etc) actually happened at a special Sony event in Japan, a few days before TGS. So it wasn't really TGS when they were announced.

Skyrim is first revealed on vga, totally an american show. Same with dark souls 2 I think. American audience have no problem with rpg. Maybe some problem with jrpg that have strong anime influence, but wrpg with more realistic look is just fine.

I think they will do an unboxing, show ui, show games, annoucements trailers. I think that is how it will happen. Show us the system, talk about specs
I dont mind unboxing and showing ui, but i hope they don't show it so i can see for myself. But if they do show i will watch.

I checked around in some local gamestores and while they wouldn't give specific numbers they all said the ps4 preorders were higher than the xbox ones
the impression I get from message boards and talking to other european friends is that the ps4 is favoured heavily over here

The JRPG genre can be revived in America just like other genres have been. It just needs male characters who don't look like women and plots more geared to a western way of thinking.

Then it wouldn't be a J-RPG... Incidentally, all this "male characters looking like women" stuff was something I agreed with...until I started playing Western games. Barrelchests and five o'clock shadows everywhere. Basically, they seem to balance each other.

And by viewing both the Samaritan tech demo and the infiltrator demo we can see the same skull like mask that is worn by the antagonists in the Samaritan as well as the protagonist in the infiltrator demo.
As vgleaks says this will most likely come out in 2014 with both leads already shown in their own respective tech demos.
Plus it's most likely exclusive content rather than outright exclusive

A bunch of people (including me) tried to warn people that TGS keynotes are keynotes, not press conferences (and Microsoft's pissed the Japanese industry off before when they couldn't tell the difference), so it's not like you weren't warned.
Also, Yoshida says that there won't be any announcements no matter what, so you may as well use a double headed coin to figure out if they're actually announcing something.
I don't know if there will be exclusive content just speculating.
As the games that were shown on the ps4 all had their own exclusive in game content so I assumed that this will be the case with epics new ip, if it is being shown at the sony event

I didn't say it i supposed to be an exclusive, I'm just curious if this is real. I don't care if it isn't an exclusive (as long as it comes to PS4)
If it is then I'm glad the Samaritan concept ended up as a game.
If it wll be shown on the All Access event then it'll be icing on a cake for me.

This would only work for me if I got some release dates (down to the month, if not date) for a ton of games. Like FFXV, Witcher 3, Destiny, Lords of the Fallen, and The Order 1886. Otherwise I don't really need more teasers.

Yeah , all the talk about how crappy the Xbox version of Ghosts runs is sure to take the wind out of Sony's sail.
This is not about Geoff, Playstation Blog and other SCEA execs like John Koller stated the same, there will be world premieres and new announcements.
That doesn't mean that they're going to announce the biggest titles they have in development but it's sufficient to say that Yoshida is a master twitter troll
Microsoft isn't doing anything special, they're just allowing journalists to finally talk about their titles without limitations (which isn't even guaranteed to be good news).
Sony is having a pre-launch gaming event which will be similar to the japanese conference they did on September 9th but focusing on key 2014 games.
