Wanting it and achieving it are two very different things. Microsoft was also including the 360 in that.hagege_s is correct I think.

I was in one of those markets during release buying tearaway (Got may PS4 way later). They had to call the police, because some guys were punching each other over the last couple ps4s. While others were buying two or more.
No.No. Knackt means broke/crack in german.

Other numbers from Germany:
Wii U: 350.000 until August (source: Bernd Fakesch interview)
Xbox one: 170.000 until August (source: GfK)

No.
More like "crack / to crack" in german.
hm....No. Knackt means broke/crack in german.
sold through or sold in?
That looks to be the same number as the xbox one for June so maybe these are actually June numbersOther numbers from Germany:

This would've been achieved way faster if Sony didn't allocate most of the PS4s to the UK. I couldn't find a retail PS4 for months in all of Hamburg. It was insane.
Ah ok, sorry about that.I meant that MS is selling about 1:3 of the PS4 right now.
Since then, PS4 sold another 460K units. So right now, I expect that XB1 sells worse than 1:3 compared to PS4.PS4 2014 German YTD = 290,000
XB1 2014 German YTD = 70,000
Yeah should be higher than 1:3. If you look at the Pal charts exclusive sell pretty bad (SO charted at 11 as a new release) Will be interesting how Halo fares this week.Since then, PS4 sold another 460K units. So right now, I expect that XB1 sells worse than 1:3 compared to PS4.

Japan becomes more irrelevant with each passing day

I don't know how accurate those numbers are, but I could swear Xbone sold a bit more. If those are true then it's worse than I have imagined. That pretty much confirms that xbone is dead in Germany.
EDIT: Ok, WiiU numbers are mentioned by Nintendo themselves and xbone is tracked by GfK. Good god Microsoft...
And this is some of the reason I don't get why parts of Gaf are obsessed with US sales only.
PS4 is cleaning up EU in excess so even a holiday loss to MS in NPD (by less than 100k surely-tales from my ass) won't be the changing tide most think
For what it's worth, the X1 really did bad here at the local Saturn market but when I was there yesterday to get GTAV I've seen 2 people buying the AC:U bundle and a generally much lower stock in store than months ago.
I didn't know the Wii U is outselling the Xbox One 2:1 in Germany.
Color me fucking surprised.
Also, obvious congratulations to Sony. The PS4 might as well be the best console this generation. Maybe even the best Sony console of all time.
David Hasselhof is still bigger.

Jesus Christ.
No wonder Sony isn't as aggressive about winning in the States this holiday.
I'm in tears.

Wait a minute.
250,000 sold in 2013
290,000 from January 1st to June 30th
460,000 from July 1st to October 21st?
Are we sure they're talking about sold through and not sold in?
Wha. Surely there was some extremely good launch deal or something where first X amount of customers got X% off, right?
