Two negatives, the BluWave IR dongle for ps3 does not work on PS4 and neither does the Apple Earpod mic.

Not really a negative of the system, since you are trying to use peripherals from a previous system and an ipod.

Not the fault of the PS4, friend.

The best upgrade/feature of the PS4 BY FAR is the headphone jack in the controller. It's a lifesaver.

How is the quality when plugged into the controller versus directly to the TV or receiver?

I assume since the signal has to travel by Bluetooth some quality is lost somehow?

It's insane. Very clear audio, especially being wireless and all.

I haven't used the chat, so I can't comment on quality, but I'm sure its fine.

Yes I am using my same account. Also, I did authorize the PS4 as my primary at initial setup. I just got my PS4 last night and set everything up. I'll check again tonight and see if that money is there.

I like the headphone jack. I always hated wireless headset, hated bluetooth headsest. I'm happy that I can put int a wired head set in and not have to worry abouy Blue Tooth synch and have one less thing to worry about battery charging.
