You would know cheap. Not sure yet. Depends on what time they are showing it and if I have the time to watch it. I'll get a last minute ticket, those are cheaper.
Just fucking with you. You're alright.

That so called " DLC game" has ray tracing Day one. But their critically acclaimed fans's favorite full game which built from the ground up taking advantages of Xsex has no ray tracing. How ironic! They're already damage-controlled it by calling it a 5-6 hour DLC game which PS5 owners will pay 60 bucks for, while the X fans will game 100 titles for 1 buck. Doesn't matter what exclusive Sony will bring - their first and last line of defense is now 'I game 100 titles for 1 buck'.
We talk about xbox lesser than xbox thread talk about Playstation. Coz i see xbox boys everywhere talking shit about everything related to Playstation.I never really visited this topic, because I'm only planning on buying the PS5 in 3 years, but wanted to check there was new information about the next state of play. You guys talk more about Xbox than the OT topic?
But on topic, the general consensus seems to be that tomorrow we get the info about state of play show being next week.
For historical interest...The train if there's no God of War announcement.
Look, I've been following every bit of news Japan Studio-related for several years now, trust me when I tell you that I know what am I talking about. If I were engaged in a discussion with this guy, I could prove him wrong with just a couple of facts and he couldn't be able to argue me otherwise because his only "weapon" is to claim that he has been in touch with "credible sources that wish to remain anonymous" - which is bullshit he has made up in order to promote his youtube channel ala FoxyGamesUK.Where are you getting this info from?
Moore's Law Is Dead is an idiot and doesn't know a shit about Japan Studio. They have three unannounced projects in the works headed by different creative directors: a new IP (Tsutomu Kouno), a Silent Hill soft-reboot (Keiichiro Toyama) and most probably an Ape Escape game (Iljima).
Well, there's a slight chance that Mark Cerny is helping with that title, although I think that this time around Iljima-san will be the sole director for his team's project unlike with the two Knack games where he was co-directing alongside Cerny.is the Ape Escape game possibly the Mark Cerny project that was rumoured.

He says that it is a Sony game belonging to a series that used to be a "tentpole franchise" for PlayStation, something that Armored Core never was in the first place. Although you are right, Miyazaki's Armored Core has been in development for a while now and could be revealed soon. What do you think about the new game being Armored Core? From stated in 2016 that they wanted to revisit the franchise. Would make sense to have that as a PS5 title - pure speculation from me though.
Did you just say it would be a good move... I repeat, a good move, for ND to go back to Jack & Daxter?
These guys make games of the generation every time they want (LoU and LoU2) and you want them back making cartoony kiddy games? They are the best studio in the world making 3rd person, story focus adult themed games. How about they keep doing what they do best, maybe this time in a new IP, and let someone else work on cartoon games?
Factions 2 can be made by one of their teams, the other can focus on a new IP.I’d just add that ND still have TLOU 2 factions to deliver. That could be a PS5 killer app as it happens but it’s awfully quiet right now.
And hopefully SP are working on some GOT DLC and other post game goodies before they move on...

That's what happens when you've just read the last page...you behave here, sir, this is not the other thread.I never really visited this topic, because I'm only planning on buying the PS5 in 3 years, but wanted to check there was new information about the next state of play. This supposedly leaked from Carrefour outlet, pin of salt as always:
ExactlyNot buying it. Controllers and headphones way too cheap.
Sometimes you just have to walk away from unhealthy relationships!
Noted, no more replies to you.
Cries in Brazil. R$8000 incoming. This supposedly leaked from Carrefour outlet, pin of salt as always:
Wonder if Discord gang will be the mods, you get banned for just writing 'no'.A+ for originality boys...
Zillion Games tá fazendo pre-order por 6k com 3 anos de garantia.Cries in Brazil. R$8000 incoming.
My man lol.
I love good banter.
It's late but I'll answer your question: Yes, I want them to continue to do what they're doing, but using one of their older IPs.
In regards J&D being cartoony kiddy games, the second and third J&D games have a darker, more sophisticated storyline than a typical cartoony "kiddy" game would have - IMO you're being overtly simplistic in your approximation of what it was as a whole. The flavor and gameplay of these games was very unique in comparison to a lot of other stuff, even today.
Naughty Dog is for sure very good at what they currently do with their games. But I think not only do they owe it to their older fans to go back and revive the J&D franchise, they also can continue to do what they do best today with it: telling engaging stories with quality 3rd person gameplay. I've mentioned before on these forums, at least a few times now, that the graphical style/quality ND should be aiming for on a new J&D game is simply the CG in the Jak 3 commercial below, scaled up to today's standards where possible.
Naughty Dog has always been good at crafting good story driven games ever since the PS2 days. Their work on the J&D franchise was essentially the seeds of what they're currently known for today. They've made quite a statement with TLOU2, but honestly their strength isn't only in games with ultra serious themes. As I said in my original post, the duality of going from something so dark and controversial/statement-ish to something a bit less serious and alarming would be a refreshing toneshift probably for both the studio itself and a lot of people who have come to enjoy their past games.
Previously when ND tried to make a new entry in the J&D franchise they tried to create a more mature version of it I feel like, which isnt a non-sensical direction, the series was already heading that way when we last saw it. But I think where they fucked up is that they didn't do an actual reboot, and they tried to go a hyper-realistic/lifelike route for the graphics (like Uncharted/TLOU). While I agree that the studio's outward attitude doesnt seem like they particularly want to make less than absolutely realistic looking mature games these days, and that people probably would be expecting more of the same from them, I would encourage anyone looking at it like that to adopt a different outlook. This being said, I believe I would enjoy a more mature J&D game as they seem to have toyed with previously, so long as it was done right (even if it is a reboot).
On a bit of a tangent, graphical prowess is not everything - but it is pushed so hard. I maintain that the quality of video games themselves were much better in generations past where graphics were limited in power (PS2 and below). I feel like people forget that this industry is one that is supposed to be making games with substance and not pixar-looking "cinematic experiences" sometimes. The content is currently how it is because it is created based on what grabs the most attention and sales. It's a no brainer there, businesses are designed to make money. Naughty Dog has always pushed the bar with their games, and while this is not a particular criticism of them specifically(ND usually has a healthy balance), in terms of video games as whole it's a bit of a plague how the majority of the industry is hellbent on making games with better graphics and less overall lasting substance. It's become this business of selling pretty experiences and not good games.
Also don't get me wrong, releasing a J&D game will definitely not have the same impact as TLOU2 or Uncharted has, but it would be very big for PlayStation regardless. Naughty Dog doesn't suddenly stop being Naughty Dog in this scenario - the quality is still there.
I usually answer 'you get what you pay for'.

Dang that's probably going to go into another Craig meme.
Ouch
Not buying the leak either but I can see those console prices being true. It's around what I'm expecting.
The Platinum and Gold Wireless Headsets, as well as third-party headsets that connect via USB port or audio jack, will work on PS5
This supposedly leaked from Carrefour outlet, pin of salt as always:
No Sackboy with family for a while, too costly. Unless there will be a PS4 version.DS4 won't work on PS5 games.
Damn you, Sony, no support for third party BT headsets again?
Is the PlayStation Camera for PS4 compatible with PS5?
Yes, PlayStation Camera will work with PS5 for playing supported PS VR games. It will require a PlayStation Camera adaptor that will be provided at no additional cost to PS VR users. More details on how to get the adaptor will be announced at a later date.
Well those *are* the colors of the X-Box controller's buttons, as well as the layout.A+ for originality boys...
That sucks. I was hoping to sacrifice those PS4 controllers to those angry hands of my family members whenever they visit, but I guess I'll have to buy 2-3 DualSense controllers.DS4 won't work on PS5 games.
Its from u/viper_on_fire, the person who had the dualsense in hands and posted it in this subreddit, but then deleted it. they tried the controller and he told me what he felt with it The Buttons: The D-pad and the main buttons feel similar to the dualshock 4 with no differences overall However, the Touchpad does feel more responsive and clicky as he tried it. The triggers are interesting, the L1 and R1 dont click, they push down as they're triggers, the L2 and R2 however, felt harder to push down than normal, even without the tension points activated. Battery Life: They noted that it averaged around 3 to 4 hours more than the dualshock 4 The Comfort of it: They noted that it is much more comfortable than the dualshock 4 and less bulky overall, they even noted that it was more comfortable than the Xbox one controller in thier eyes. Haptic Feedback and the Microphone: They told me that they didnt get a chance to play with those features around, however they did tell me that they would try it in a later point and that they would notify me. Other Stuff: The Lightstrip is much dimmer than the dualshock 4's lightbar They also noted that PSVR wont support this controller due to not having a lightbar. Note: i had to delete the previous one due to the fact he didnt like to reveal himself, now that he got to, i decided to repost it
EDIT: Still dont believe me? this video is his hands on of the controller, the one he deleted
That's pity that I must throw away my beutiful orange DS4. Controllers have identical button mapping, only difference is in adaptive triggers and haptics. Why can't they just ignore these functions for older controllers...
from reddit, grain of salt but he does include a video of him holding the controller
There's already a revision for current PSVR supporting HDR passthrough. While your at it you can post me a breakout box that supports HDR (if the PS5 even needs the breakout box )
