No, I'm pretty sure it was always like that. People clarified it weeks ago that its first come first serve. This isn't a recent change.

They always said that "the first 5000 there" would be in the keynote. They never said it was the first 5000 ticket sold. It's always been on a first come first serve basis, perhaps you just misunderstood?

It was always the first 5000 that got there I think.

I wouldn't even go that far everything they have shown up until now has been old build and we have seen absolutely nothing of the ABEL physics engine. Shits about to get real, I got my Daiper, Cowboy boots, football helmet and straight jacket and am ready to jump in front of the damn train.

been there since you have been able to buy the tickets junior...........never changed

Each attendee must exchange his or her ticket for a wristband for entry into exhibit hall. Wristbands can be picked up starting on Thursday, December 4 through Sunday, December 7 at any Venetian/Palazzo Box office or on Saturday, December 6 and Sunday, December 7 outside of The Sands Expo Hall C. Attendee will be required to show valid government issued photo ID as well as a physical ticket, print-at-home ticket or mobile ticket to receive wristband.

All ticket sales are final and are non-refundable.

Opening keynote address is open to the first 5,500 attendees to enter. Seating will be first come, first serve.

If you go to Twitch.tv/thegameawards and load up the page and don't click anything, you'll be in the public chat.

If you go to Twitch.tv/playstation (for PSX) and load up the page and don't click anything, you'll be in the public chat.

BUT, on either of those pages, if you click the 4 bars above the chat panel, and go to SonyGAF (if I added your username) youll be in the Sony Gaf chat.

The area above the Chat panel will tell you if your on the channels chat (public) or SonyGAFs chat.

Does that ,make sense?
