Man SUper Stardust Ultra for PS4, gonna give me tears from overstimulating my eyes!! lol

Shit, I expected these events to have good things, but that game is so fun. its a surprise porting up this older game- hope some of Delta's ideas are included.. Sony's strategy around this time of 2014 has impressed. Also happy to play resogun on the go.

Ohh I remember, but maybe im mistaken, I thought Dungeon Defenders 2 was already indicating it would come to consoles. Co-op is fun in 1.

Man I can't hang in this thread and/or stay up all night.

I'm like the kid thinking about Disneyland the next day. I'm driving out tomorrow, hoping to arrive at the hotel by check-in time, and I'll be going to the show Sunday (decided trying for both days might be a bit much and this way I can do regular Vegas-y stuff tomorrow).

I'm going to need sleeping pills. But not going to the show tomorrow means I don't have to get up at the buttcrack of dawn.

Who else is going?

I'll get to that blackjack table but I might want to visit the Pinball Hall of Fame too. Other than that, no agenda but party.

Is MLB:15 made by Sony San Diego? I thought they would make something that wasn't MLB.

Yes, it is made by them. They had already said they were bringing MLB 15 to PSX. BUT, also announced they had another unannounced game to show. They just wanted to clarify in a tweet that MLB 15 was not the game they were referring to. I think it makes sense that the game they were referring is Jaffe's game, since his new company is in San Diego.

Games announced today for the PS4:

Godzilla
Street Fighter 5
Resogun: Defenders
Super Stardust Ultra
Adrift
Dungeon Defenders 2
MLB:15
So happy about the Dungeon Defenders, put so many hours in it across PS3 and PC. The partner said holy shit at SF V Exclusive, and was happy to see Chun-Li featured. Totally gonna get Resogun: Defenders DLC, not doing Adrift on principle. Friend was happy to see MLB, and I marked out for SSDU. Godzilla I'm glad to see on PS4. Until Dawn looks different. Bloodbourne looks amazing.

Great time already IMO and Sony has the whole thing still left tomorrow, and I'll be the guy marking for Arkham Knight footage haha :)

It's wild that Nintendo had such a large presence tonight, dropping bombs at the VGA's, Sony will drop several bombs most likely tomorrow, and Microsoft is whisper quiet. It's just interesting.

Felt the exact same way. MS had such a small presence tonight, while both Nintendo and Sony were featured prominently.

I wanna see Microsoft go all out. I really liked seeing Nintendo give us a lot more than they typically would today. Sony definitely won't hold back tomorrow. Nintendo has Nintendo Directs, and Sony has the PSX. I wonder if Microsoft will hold their own thing.

It's really great seeing the competition start riling up.

Here's why DD2 is exclusive, not really surprising if your follow F2P on consoles

Philip Asher, a designer on the project, adds that there were clear benefits for making Dungeon Defenders 2 freemium console exclusive on PS4.

"Sony has been really good to work with for free-to-play games," he tells GameSpot.

"We think it's a good time to do it too. Free-to-play games weren't really a feature of last-generation consoles, so we're really excited to see that people can pick up this game for free on PS4 and start playing."

While a version for the Xbox One isn't completely off the table, Asher explains, "there are things we want to do later after the game is released that is more possible on PlayStation 4." He wasn't able to elaborate on what he meant by this, or whether he was referring to technical or publishing particulars.

He continued: "The support that indies get from Sony is exactly one of the reasons why we wanted to go with them. The people there are great, though that's not like we're saying the people at Xbox aren't great."

Well the TGA has humbled my hype. Time to hang around here to get back to optimal hype levels for tomorrow!

Somewhat a guess out of left field(sorry for the bad pun) but MLB the Show would be another guess for a game that looks incredible. The PS3 games were by far the best looking sports games IMO.

Why would the TGA humble your hype? You knew what to expect honestly. Especially from Sony. Nintendo were the ones who really surprised.

Sony has tomorrow to go in depth of what they did and didn't show.

TGAs were awesome in my book.

Now I am really really excited for PSX. Hopefully it can match the level of hype that Geoff somehow managed to muster.

Yeah, I don't understand that either. The hype for this weekend was always centered around PSX. With that said, it's never a bad thing to put the brakes on being too hyped for an event since that will almost always lead to disappointment.
