Its OT, but we have seen gameplay of it so thats how we know.

Does anyone expect Japanese devs to be there? I hope we see something from SE (Versus?) and Kojima.

It's OT (on topic?) to talk about the Vita aswell. Yes, they will announce PS4 and talk about the new nextgen games. BUT, don't you guys think they'll mention something about the Vita?

Seems like the perfect time to get some much needed attention to the Vita, how about some new games alongside Killzone Mercenary and Tearaway to show the public that they haven't abandoned those millions of Vita owners out there? Perhaps a much needed RE title for Vita?

I mean, i don't expect the conference to have 90% Vita content, more like 10% but still. It's stupid of Sony not to give some attention to their dying baby and try to save it. Atleast try Sony! Goddamnit! ='(

Sensing a slight lull in this thread over the last couple of days ... it's like the calm before the storm ... I'm predicting crazy levels of kazification from next Monday onwards!

It's very weird. This will be the first one that isn't in Japan. That makes me think that they're going to have a big focus on western titles.

I think it's a brilliant ploy from Sony and a 2 fingers straight up at MS by taking the fight to their home turf.

It's one of the smartest moves Sony has made in a LONG time. Sony knows they lost a big chunk of the US to Microsoft, and they are willing to take it all back. JP still remains Sony/Nintendo territory, and I think Sony has EU in the bag.

Bringing it home, baby!

PlayStation Meeting 2013 |OT| Taste of Vita.

See? IT'S A RELEVANT TITLE NOW, ISN'T IT?!

I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm shouting.

I can't believe there hasn't been more leaks.

you mean photos of the hardware design and the controller ? since Specifications are all over the internet,if it's the hardware itself then yeah it's weird and very non-Sony.

PSVita got leaked (final hardware design, dev kit, final name) long before the PS meeting 2011, here we got absolutely nothing so far.

I'm just now wading through the last few pages of this thread, and this one killed me.

As a passive observer of this thread, some of theses gifs man. I don't know how some of you guys aren't professional rotoscopers/motion trackers in the film industry. The time and effort that goes into gifs on the internet boggles my mind, not that I'm complaining when they bring the funny so strongly.

Do your eyes hurt from coming out from under that rock?

We have had a lot of stuff... we basically know what the hardware is. We know about the controller...

Vita design got leaked because they had to send various prototypes to devs...

I check USPTO and OHIM as often as I can, but nothing so far (apart for some recent patents, but those have dedicated threads). If it was easier to search equipment on FCC I would do that more often as well, but it's a slow site: http://transition.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fccid/

I checked about two weeks ago, but nothing then. Sony's grantee code is AK8.

The final design wasn't leaked, but a prototype resembling a PSP Go! was. Also, the Vita name was leaked a few days before E3, before then we knew of the device as the NGP.

It's definitely smart on their part. It shows that they're taking a very different approach with the PS4. The arrogance is gone and now they're back to being aggressive. They need to get back into their PS2 mindset. Back then they weren't arrogant about it before it launched. They were just really aggressive and pretty damn ruthless. Hopefully we're going to see that Sony again.

Word is, that's exactly what's happened.

Oh, I see. I thought we were talking about KH3. My grasp of the language is clearly slipping.

He did say he'd settle for a JRPG :D

Fuck yes we will see that again. You have a man who worked his hardest in the PlayStation department now the CEO of the company. Stringer really brought the company down, and needed to be replaced by a leader who knew how to steer the company in the correct direction.

Hot! Who is this?

Nvm found her: Aussy Runner Michelle Jenneke

The focus is on PS4 for the moment; I really haven't heard anything on Vita.

I see. Shame really..would like some big blow out since it's a the first year anniversary in the western markets...it sure needs it. Thanks for answering
