I'm 99% sure there is no box in there. Just simple shapes with a thin extended edge around them. All the strange lines come from the raytraced refraction and reflections.

I never was certain. It just gives the appearance of one up close like that, which may have been the idea to begin with. Who knows? Just happy we are getting a reveal.

I'm guessing a Japanese news paper or a french website will leak it in a week or so. But honestly I hope they don't! I want to experience it first hand at the reveal

Do NOT expect a controller reveal or any games shown. They'll likely announce it, show a mock-up design of the hardware, and leave the rest for E3.

Actually this is my expectation as well. But not sure if they would do it at the unveiling or at E3. Either way TLG is most likely PS4 now. Can you just imagine? We were amazed by the visuals and art style when it was shown ages ago on the PS3 hardware...what it could end up looking like on the PS4!? drool

Our entire conversation you were coloring me as suggesting that 'innovation' was somehow bookended by motion and tablet controllers when I never suggested that. Not once have I ever said that, nor would I ever. When I attempted to clear this misunderstanding up, you seemed to double-down on the premise. You appeared resolute in painting my interpretation of 'innovation' as some narrow, Nintendo-defined range, which is why I sought to just cut the whole conversation off as it was going nowhere and my views were being misrepresented by you at every turn.

Interpret the discussion however you like. I don't particularly care to discuss with someone who consistently paints me in an inaccurate light.

I'm excited. I thought there was a pretty good chance something would announce first even if they couldn't launch this year. Just so they could say they were still the first out of the gates this time.

Well, the actual games shown at the NGP reveal two years ago were all first-party. The only third-party stuff consisted of MHP3 (running via BC?), the COD logo, and various tech demos.

With Wii U faring poorly and Durango launching around the same time, I don't think Sony is under that much pressure to blow their E3 load four months early. I'd expect a select handful of actual games (3-5, mostly first-party) and some tech demos, with third parties then allowed to announce games on their own schedule.

I've been saying...and take it to the bank...that the next iteration of the Vita will have internal memory with current expansion options...and a price drop.

Haven't heard from them since they released the Vita RR which is quite a while for a team to be quiet so they could have something cooking for PS4 you never know

I just hope we can avoid meltdowns and bans.



If sony announces that used games wouldn't work... oh the meltdowns that would occur..
I kind of hope they announce something so stupid to see reactions...
