Don't. Get 750GB Max. Terabyte's RPM
as of now is 5400 compared to 7200RPM required for suitable loading time for PS3.

Get a Seagate Momentus XT 750GB Hybrid HDD. That's what I'm planning to get as its the fastest 2.5" Hard drive in the market.

SCEE said they will try and re-use games as irregularly as they can. I.e. not do it very often unless they can help it. However, yes there have been occasions in the past where a game was put up free again (last christmas, for example, SCEE put up about 10(?) games that had been free earlier in the year). But at least that was a sale to get new people on board. They still had their regular december line-up.

You know ... I kinda had PS Plus threads and information on auto ignore in my head as I thought the service sucked when it launched.

I finally ended up reading something about the revamp ... Holy shit its alit better I think I might subscribe. If those 12 games I've only played just cause 2. 50 bucks for the rest seems like a complete steal.

Do people still play warhammer multiplayer?

I think I'll try plus for 3 months. The set up reminds me of the old Colombia House entry offers. Best bang for the buck is on the front end starting up with 12 games. If I like will then go with a year. I trade in games so often it makes sense to me to try this as a rental service.

This seems alot more worth it than live.
 
Have loads of fun introducing my kids (4 and 6) to PS3 gaming (as supposed to iPad) with All4One.

Well kind off, since now I have to play it all the time... its fun in coop, nice game.

Infamous 2 is pretty awesome too. Its pretty darn good looking game, just like LBP, KZ3 and UC3, when compared to other stuff. There is quite an difference between most 1st party games and 3rd party games, almost as if you have PS3.5.

Makes me wonder if they really need 10x more capable console in PS4.
 
Do I HAVE to download a free game entirely to have it tied to my account or can I just start downloading it and have it added to my download list and it's mine to keep so I can download in the future, after they rotate out?
Not getting a HD upgrade right now, but want to keep these games after they're gone :(

Press "add to cart" on every free game you want, then check out with all your freebies. Bingo, the games go on your download list forever.
 
Just joined the Yellow Plus Club, and having my PS3 on for hours downloading free shit feels pretty good. :) Envious that we in NA don't get Motorstorm or Deus Ex, but I'm hoping that we'll get some great stuff this fall/winter.
 
Well, the initial offering was pretty good, but now I'm thinking my Plus subscription will probably run out before they add anything else I want to play.

Getting DE:HR was a pretty big deal this month and tomorrow there's another blue-ray title on the way along with a psn title. I'd say the quality is holding up, since you can't expect 10 free games every moth.

Yep, it's like basically confirmation that PSone classics on Vita is NOT coming soon despite what we've been told

That or it's confirmation that these two games will not be compatible any time soon

Wow, pretty weak offering, Sony. Poor planning. Couldn't believe you guys came out with 3 awesome games last week, but now it makes more sense.
