Twas a solid showing, tons of new IPs revealed, sequels to some amazing games, holy shit Dragons Dogma 2, Marathon revival, Alan Wake II and greatest game of thes show, aka GOTG, no GOTD, no...GOATG! lol METAL GEAR SOLID 3 REMAKE and remaster collection for those who love to cry
This showcase had a little of everything and if someone didn't find something they liked, you are jaded lol I'm not even buying everything shown, not everything is for me, I think gamers have a hard time dealing with that as they seem to have this view like every last thing MUST be FOR THEM. This is a solid, solid showing with games that I feel, folks would literally ask for at the end of these types of things, like "boooo, where is Dragon Dogma 2" or "booo where is MGS3 remakez" or "woooow just Destiny, where is Marathon" or "wooooowz /s just Alan Wake 2, where are the new IP?"
I feels like people like this simply look to complain about what wasn't shown or have some exact game they are looking for or something and then try to judge the whole event based on Xenogears remake not being shown, folks....if it was shown like MGS3 remake, you'd just find another thing to complain about.
Not shocked the full meat of it was for Spiderman 2, they will market other stuff as they get closer and closer to Spiderman 2 release before they start the next huge marketing window.
Death Stranding 2, Concord, The Last Of Us MP etc.

lol yesssssssssss! 100% this. The fact that someone was already to complain about no Spiderman 2, edits their post, then goes on to complain about some other shit proves our point completely.

It was super necessary to show Concord like this as a teaser. Many asking "whats the point" are the some ones that would cry about a downgrade or complain about development time. I'm fine with how that was revealed.
Its a new IP, get the teaser out to generate interest, focus on its full reveal after Spiderman 2's marketing campaign is done following its release or Death Stranding 2 (as that could be the next game they start to market more of). What I don't want is development time spent forcing the team to make some build if the game isn't ready, only to have many changes based on it still being early, then to have folks cry about a downgrade.
Reveal it when its ready, tease it when its time to generate interest. New IPs take longer to market, they are new, they have lots to convey vs something like Spiderman where its an existing universe where we get the hunter character, Lizard man etc For example, you couldn't even fucking show a trailer 100% like that if Spiderman was some brand new concept, lizard who? why the fuck do we care? They'd need to tell you Spiderman got his powers this way, Lizard man is a Scientist that knows Peter that tested on himself to regenerate his arm etc With it being known, its smoother to show such a trailer like we saw. So this makes sense to show a teaser, drip feed info, generate info until a full, 100% reveal is ready.
