Anyone else gonna bite on the CoD:WaW map pack? The PS3 version gets no love around here.

maybe not this week, but I definitely will, never got online with it yet after finishing single player.

If you do grab it and want to do some co-op zombie bashing, I'm your man. I can never find anyone to play with.

is online dead for it already? Or just co op modes?

Oh, multi is still VERY active. Zombie games tend to fill up fast since it's only 4 players and I'm too impatient to start my own match and wait for people to join :)

WaW in general gets no love on GAF at all. See the official thread and any threads that people make for it, including the ones I made.

So much content today. Sony is still struggling to meet me with downloadable PSP games. $22.99 is too much for a game that I can buy new on UMD for less. Its just plain stupid.

Also $1.99 for the RB:U songs is laughable. My protest continues.

Patch for Gunstar. Shit!
Can't believe online broken off the bat.
I wonder if it is the game itself or the online servers that makes the problem. Kinda sucks that it doesnt work right of the bat as you say, i agree. I manage to get online co-op to work one time earlier though, but only one time :\

Damn I can't use the Ico pack stickers if the host doesn't own the pack too. Lame. Otherwise the pack is awesome. My favorites are Ico and the Colossus with the little Wander toy on his arm.

Any word on what happened to the Ghostbusters demo, or was that just something that people were hoping for?
I don't think it was ever confirmed for today. What really sucks is the Cuboid dlc which we were promised by the ps blog. If you check that blog entry now they have all the comments about it coming today crossed out. At least they're trying to be funny about it.

Like we said many times, SCEA cannot undercut retailers when it comes to pricing. The cheapest they can price games is the same as retailers or more. That's why Xbox 360 retail games on the marketplace, PS3 downloadable/disc games (like SOCOM, GT5P, etc.), and movies in the Video Store are the same price basically (or more). SCEA can't price lower than retailers because that puts them in a bad relationship with them, and retailers are still very important to SCEA (this is mostly an issue in NA). Pricing lower than retailers is like when their competitor is pricing games cheaper and they have to cut their own prices in order to push copies (giving them fewer profits or sometimes taking a loss). Retailers are in business to sell products, and taking away their sales leaves them quite upset. Downloadable games will never be cheaper than disc, as long as retailers are still important. Now if Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee 2 was never in retail, it could be priced cheaper in retail.

As for RB Unplugged music pricing, blame the music industry and them wanting a decent amount of money for downloadable music. Most big labels won't accept $1 if its a popular/current hit song (due to being into SingStar, I kind of know how music companies/artist want quite a bit of money/share to use their music. Licensing isn't cheap).

Heavy Weapon game is a joke. It's a flash game that's not worth anywhere close to $10.

in fairness, it's a pretty hefty demo

I buy a lot of stuff from PSN, but thankfully Heavy Weapon had a demo... what a piece of shit. I could have coded better when I was 12, seriously... WTF?

I couldn't seem to find the DLC for The Last Guy after I bought it.

Any ideas?

maybe it's only later levels? Have you beaten all the previous ones?

who else got bomberman? 7 player local support is sweet.

*raises hand*

I grew up playing Bomberman, but I can't for the life of me figure out why they can't create a single player stage mode.

Seriously, it's what made this series what it is.

No, because the game makes you erase your save game if you want to have trophies.

I'm not kidding.

oh yes I know, but I had been playing since the patch, which was a couple of weeks ago wasn't it? I'm only on like level 5 myself. The DLC is three levels right?

I didn't really read it, but I'm not that concerned. I had only played a little before the patch.

Heh. I never understood why Heavy Weapon was so popular on XBLA.

Passed on it then, passing on it now.
Don't want Feeding Frenzy either.

Release Bookworm PopCap.

Wow, a few Heavy Weapon hate posts in this thread.

I bought it and I like it a lot. It's mindless fun, the kind of game that you would expect to play at an arcade when you were a kid. I just got the 12 minute Survival mode trophy online with four other players, it was intense and a lot of fun! I think the funnest part of the game are the boss fights, I can't wait to unlock the boss rush mode, I think they provide the most fun and variety to the game.

Heavy Weapon reminds me of silkworm, an awesome game on NES, just not as fun :/

Only played demo so maybe its cooler after...shrug.

it's a game you'd expect to play on newgrounds.com for free....

Sony could sell games on PSN for less than retail for older titles they are no longer stocked. Let retail have titles for 12 months and then after that they can sell it for whatever they like on PSN.

Their big problem with single player was that they couldn't figure out how to make good AI back then.

The original Bomberman was single player. Am I the only one who played through the gazillions of stages with the passwords?

This and Megaman were my games.

You're not the only one. I remember being either in stage 31 or 51 (Don't know which one it was or don't remember how many there were) but It was hard like shit!

Why is RockBand Unplugged not on the PSP Store? I actually liked the demo...

You'd probably need to ask EA about that. It doesn't look like PSP games hitting PSN will become normal until the PSP go is released.

I keep getting Error 80023017. I googled the error code and the only explanation I could find is PSN maintenance. Is that the case or is this something on my end?

WHAT THE FUCK.

So I beat Heavy Weapon, all missions and get the trophy for it. I got right into Boss Blitz mode play it a few times then quit the game for lunch. When I reboot back up the game it says "Unlock all missions for Boss Blitz mode". What the hell. I have to rebeat the game AGAIN to freaking unlock Bos Blitz mode everytime?

Anyone else have the same thing happen to them or did my game just not save after beating it or what? Shit, I am pissed the fuck off!
