I'd guess it complements the data currently present on the bubble. Think of it as a folder and your cart as a DVD where the game looks for the data that is not present on the folder.

I'm just guessing though.

This is indeed weird. I always thought it was 60fps. Maybe I need to dust off the Dreamcast sometime and play it again.

JSRF was 60fps, I'm sure of that :/

Man, downloading the Walking Dead episodes is a fucking nightmare here. When the download doesn't just stop out of the blue, it's the store that crashes or refuses to load.

I have the feeling that Sony does a better job with PSN (and PS±) sales recently (last year). Maybe steam, gog, gmg and others showed them that these sales also attrack new people to their service.

Not only was JSR *NOT* 60 fps on Dreamcast, it suffered from pretty severe slowdown at points. It was not a stable 30 fps. It also ran at 640x480 and featured hideous mipmapping which blurred out textures as they moved away from the view port.

The Vita version runs at 960x544 at a rock solid 30 fps with superior texture filtering and a right stick camera.

What's amazing to me about the Vita version is that it runs smoother than both the PS3 and 360 versions. The loading is faster, the framerate never falters (at least not yet), there are no hiccups, the micro-stutter that was present when using the right stick on those versions has been eliminated, and the controls feel excellent on Vita (the small stick is perfect for graffiti).

Aside from the PC version, this is perhaps the definitive release of JSR. Even the PC version is 30 fps, however, as the engine timing is hard coded to run at 30 fps. A lot of Japanese games were designed this way. Dark Souls, for instance, required Durante to modify the exe in order to solve some of the timing issues but even with the framerate unlocked there are still some issues that crop up due to it being timed for 30 fps.

JSR at 60 fps just isn't going to happen without some serious overhauling of the engine.

They have been wrong before about stuff they put up, but can someone check the store and search for Tomba and check?

I don't own an EU Vita account so can't make use of those Plus offers, but...not much interesting stuff for me in the PS3 section this week.

Also, if you buy playstation all stars vita version, will you get the ps3 version or does it only work the other way around?

I wonder if Tomba 2 will work on PAL Vitas unlike Tomba 1 which last I checked was still not able to be played on it.

Also pretty good week this week, might pick some things up.

Yes, I know it's the sequel. What I'm trying to say, the games are called Tombi in EU. If we get Tombi 2, it must be the US version because they're calling it Tomba 2 on the playstation blog.

You're saying you guys don't have this yet. So it could either mean we're getting the US version that you guys don't have or...it's a mistake?
