Why don't you just canx your order then re-order it.

nah, i'm going to leave it and hope for the best. really it's only the memory card i'm worried about. as for the system, i'm sure they wouldn't have taken more preorders than their allotment. amazon is usually pretty good about shutting down preorders when their allotment is gone. like i said, i have a 4gb card in the feb to fall back on. i'm just a worrier by nature.

Vita has it's own store accessible from Vita. when we said a game is not on PSN, we mean it's not on PSN Vita store, PSN PS3 store have a more complete list of games and some games not listed in Vita store actually works.

so you need a PS3, got to PS3 store and look for that particular PSP game not available on Vita store, then copy it to Vita once you finished downloading it.

Ok now it's clear!

I didn't realize that Vita has its own PSP store...

I just finished downloading everything

Only a question: PSOne games doesn't run on Vita right?

I think I've got a defective memory card.

I've tried formatting it a number of different times but cannot for the life of me get any content to be stored on it either via download or direct transfer from my PS3.
Nothing but error codes.

Ain't that a kick in the teeth. :(

I'm really considering switching my wi-fi + 16gb order to the 3G one. I'm just confused by the details of that deal.

I keep reading that the "free PSN game" is only available once you've spent $15 for a month of 3G. For me, that effectively means the game isn't free as I'd never normally buy a month of 3G.

Pardon me as I know this is a stupid, stupid question in advance of asking (and probably been asked already multiple times), BUT seeing as I dont see this exact question asked, can I use a USB dongle to connect my wifi only Vita to a PS3 to download games and such as I dont have a wifi source readily available and dont want to pay for 3G service? Can I play online Vita games this way?

I still think it's coming. surely Sony realize that downloading large file of game data only on PSVita and PS3 is very not user friendly. PS3 user is insignificant compare to PC, and you can't even do background download while playing games on Vita. it's gotta be affecting their digital download sales.
It'd be awesome, but - it's Sony. User friendliness and forward planning aren't their strong point.

Couldn't help it. I preordered the WiFi only version then went back two days later and upped it to the wifi/3g that's coming out next week. I must have this now.

Bought Uncharted and Wipeout also so I can look at the boxes to hold me over.

youd be correct. Its 15$ for 2 months of 3g (1month paid THEN 1 month free) and you get a 15$ game (in which details still seem a bit fuzzy)....so essentially your not getting a free game but free 3g (in my eyes at least).

Just a heads-up: My Release-Day Delivery for my 32GB was stuck on Not Shipping Yet, so I contacted Amazon customer service, and they fixed the error, once I pointed out that they had it in stock.

In short, it says Shipping Soon, arriving tomorrow.

my Barrier Chief screen protector showed up in the mail today too, that's really impressive shipping speed since they mailed it Monday :)

looking forward to applying it when I get my Vita on Wednesday

This thread moves ridiculously fast, I've been trying to catch up for the last hour or so but I imagine I would be here for another three hours if I carried on.

The news that Ridge Racer comes with day one content has lead me to consider it as a day one purchase. If it is around £15 on SEN I will probably go for it.

I have been reconsidering my Uncharted pre-order over the last couple of days. Although I am sure I will love it I think I may have too many launch purchases planned. I imagine I will be pretty addicted to Fifa, Everybody's Golf, Virtua Tennis and Shinobido/Ninja Gaiden to find time for it. I think I will either buy it and then return it under Game's one week return policy of wait until it drops in price a little.

It's hard to decide because I love Uncharted. It looks like a stellar launch game but since everything else has online, challenges, unlockables etc to go along with single player they seem like they'll keep me occupied for at least a few weeks.

Just wanted to post this on a new page, have a wifi Vita order put together, just looking for confirmation on this which will decide whether I hit submit order or not!

Has anyone pre-ordered Unit 13? Yay or nay based on what, by nature, little you know?

Gosh, I've so much catching up to do but I'll be careful not to start spamming threads. :|

Not preordered (since I'm going all-digital), but definitely plan to pick it up Day 1. I love the individual mission structure. Have 5-15 minutes to kill, take on a quick mission!

Just to be clear, yes, you can download Vita games on the PS3 and transfer them to your vita, but no, you won't be able to play online without connecting the vita to a wifi hotspot

also note that even if you did get the 3G version the online only works over 3G for certain game modes, varies from game to game. And I'm pretty sure you can't download large files (i.e. full games) over 3G.

So basically, from what I understand of your situation, I'd say don't bother with 3G and take the money you save to buy a wireless router :)

Thanks for posting this, I contacted them about my copy of Wipeout 2048 and they had said that it was a glitch with the Release Date Delivery, my copy is scheduled to show up on Saturday.

So is Sony going to keep a list of working PSP/PSN/PS1 games? I know that list was posted, but it sounds like some people are reporting games to be working that aren't on these lists.

Also, 6 days like woah.

Thanks for your answer! I just preordered a Wifi Vita, a 32 GB memory card, a case, screen protectors, Uncharted, Wipeout, AND.... a wireless router. Goodbye $500 bucks.

That list is not complete, it didn't list metal gear peace walker and killzone, both are confirmed working. I think it'd be hard to keep a real list of what's working or not if sony themselves is not up to date. but I believe the goal is to play most if not all psp games eventually, so I'd say just wait it out.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. I'm hoping they get more games going...

Despite that list, anyone know if Gods Eater Burst works via transfer?

Skinomi TechSkin - Screen Protector Shield for Sony Playstation PSP Vita

Just ordered mine. I talked to a customer service rep from the company and they guaranteed me it will be here before next Wednesday

Normally a 24.99 dollar value, 6.95 on Amazon.

Product Description

Compatible with Sony Playstation PSP Vita
Virtually indestructible film with unmatched "invisible" screen clarity
Made from the same film material used to protect military aircraft
Smooth, non-sticky surface with patented layer of UV protection to prevent "yellowing"
Manufacturer Lifetime Replacements

In the comments, it says it comes with some things like some solution, the cloth, and a smoothing tool. I can't get the Hori one for a decent price but this looks just as good.

And does anyone have the RSS feed to keep track of g35twinturbo's flip flops?

Has anyone used this brand before? Any impressions? Thinking about choosing this one over the Hori.

Has anyone else have items that they preordered from amazon that say shipping soon but the estimated time of arrival is still the 15th?

That can't be right, right? Why would the shipping speed be so slow?

Got to try the vita here in canada (metrotown , burnaby bc fyi). Tried out 3 games. Here's my take:

- Uncharted: Seriously awesome and really reminds me of uncharted 1 which isn't a bad thing. Only tried it out for a bit but the graphics were pretty sick. I'm a huge fan of uncharted so it's a guaranteed purchase.

- Fifa 2012: The default camera is way too far. Makes the players look like ants. Went into the settings and changed the camera to Dynamic: Close and it was much much better. Noticed a bit of slowdown once, but it wasn't too bad. Gameplay felt like its ps3 counterpart.

- Gravity Rush: By far the most impressive. Just oozing with style, and looked very original. Gameplay and graphics were top notch and was shocked how good it looked. Sucks that it won't be for out for launch, but I'm grabbing this one for sure.

System felt sturdy and was a perfect for for my huge hands lol.

I have to wait till the 22nd as I just got the wifi version pre-ordered. With this test drive I got , the wait is going to be very very tough.

Just an asshole wasting his money.

lol I like how he's an "asshole" for doing what he wants to with his own inanimate object.

Never heard of it but if you search the name you'll find other products they make screen protectors for (i.e. phones and stuff) and they get usually 3.5/5 or 4/5 for ratings.

The difference is $0.04 from the Hori one.
