I'm really curious about RO, but you'll need a Japanese PSN account to do online play, right?

It doesn't have online yet. That's coming in an update in March.
But I have a Japanese PSN account so that's not a big deal. I guess I would need to do a factory reset to switch back and forth, but whatever. I'm not sure if I want to play it online anyway, but we'll see.

Hey! I totally imported that case Stateside back in January! Love soft cases, space for three games and it has a soft inside to protect the screen

That's the thing, im spending more money on protective gear for the Vita and I have yet to purchase a game for it. I've bought a Hori Silicone case for my Vita but do you think it's worth the price to import the soft case? I'm really digging the minimalistic design and it's usefulness.

I see. Maybe I'll pick it up later when I'm done with the games I have now. Looks pretty fun even without online.

After only 5 mins on Uncharted at best buy today I ended up preordering a Vita wifi and picked up Uncharted and a 16GB memory card. The system feels wonderful, felt incredibly light and with that gorgeous OLED screen I couldn't wait like I planned too.

I just hope it doesn't bite me in the ass like my 3DS launch pick up.

Put about 30 minutes into Hotshots, it being my first golf game in years, and hot damn is it good. Glad Best Buy price matched the B2G1.

Has anyone dropped by Toys R Us to see if they have their stuff available for purchase? I'm considering dropping by there later this afternoon, but if they don't have everything out yet, I may hold off a day or two.

Sounds like Target is hit and miss at this point. Mostly miss.

Picked up a FEB at the local Futureshop. Going through the setup now and copying some PSP and PSV content from the PS3. Very excited to get back into some real mobile gaming as I haven't had a working PSP since shortly after the Vita was announced and my phone just doesn't hack it. I hope Sony will get PSX games working soon, though the launch games and my PSP backlog will keep me busy for a while.

This system is very stunning. The screen is incredible and the form factor is almost perfect for my hands. The buttons are a bit small but I am sure I will be able to adapt.

Ugh, I already have enough unplayed games but the Vita release makes me want to re-buy some of my PSP games. I mentioned it already, but I really regret having most of my PSP games on UMD.

I've been playing Uncharted for hours on end and the game never stops impressing me. Particularly, the controls. There is definitely an acceleration issue in the analog stick control (not the Vita itself, but the way Bend built the control around the stick), but the use of the gyro in aiming is amazing. The sensitivity of the gyro is so perfect that I typically just use the analog stick to get into position and then the gyro to actually aim. Sony has an amazing gyro in the Vita, because it never feels slow or unresponsive.

I mean, I can aim fine with the analog sticks (Syphon Filter proves that point with perfect stick control), but that gyro is one of those things that I want to see in every game. It is that good. And it works despite having to move the Vita itself... it just works.

So how on earth do you get a memory card in this thing. I got a 4gb one and it seems way too small to fit into what I assume is also the game storage place.

Yea mine had a bunch of games. The usual stuff - Uncharted, Wipeout, Lumines, MvC3, Hot Shots, etc. No Blazblue though, same with Bestbuy.

My location had 70% of the games and some accessories.

I went to Target and it was an utter fail. Manager and employee were borderline stupid. They both insisted in the 22nd for games and system yet they had that Dungeon game on the floor ON DISPLAY!! lol

I ended up going to TRU and got Uncharted and a cradle ( 20$ gift card ) and Wipeout and a case ( 20$ gift card ) I'll got back this week and use the cards for another game.

I wonder if the Music Unlimited app that's coming this week will allow you to stream music much like custom soundtracks. Man, that would be awesome.

Tried to buy a couple Vita items at Toys R Us to get a gift card, only to be told that they couldn't sell anything Vita related until the system released, because (and I quote) "it's against the law." No amount of reasoning would convince them otherwise.

Was waiting to buy Rayman in one of these deals.. but i caved and bought it on PSN.

Only thing keeping me from going all dd is the notion of not being able to sell my games. Rayman probably wont hold its value very well, and since its only $35 on PSN i went ahead and got it.

So far i have
Hotshots Golf (DD)
Rayman (DD)
Super Star Dust (DD)
and Fifa (retail)

EDIT!
I dunno if this has been mentioned, but this was surprisingly awesome:
I had the Rayman demo already and when i bought it off of PSN it just unlocked.
Didn't have to redownload or anything.
I LIKE!

(rayman + vt4= best looking vita games by far)

You guys who don't have your Vita yet are in for a real treat when you finally do get it. It's such a joy to game with and to use and that screen is so incredible it's just blowing my mind every time I pick it up.

So far BlazBlue and Wipeout 2048 have impressed me the most visually and I consider both of them to be the highwater marks for the system's launch games in terms of 2D and 3D greatness.

This might be old news, I dunno...

I checked out Gamestop's Vita "buy 2 get 1 free" promotion and it being Gamestop, of course there's a catch. It's limited to 5 1st party Sony titles. Wipeout, Uncharted, Hot Shots, Modnation, and Little Deviants. I already have Wipeout, have no interest in Uncharted or Modnation Racers, and you'd have to pay me to take Little Deviants. So...yeah.
