I just re-dowloaded the PSP version of LittleBigPlanet; then downloaded all of the free DLC (close to 20 files) on the store. I just now found out that LBP isn't even playable yet on Vita. So now I have a fuckton of the install bubbles on my xmb. I suppose I'll just wait it out and hope the games playback is added soon, because I'll be damned if I'm going to redownload all that shit again.

Ouch lol

Kinda weird LBP isn't supported yet

Any word yet on how DJ Max feels on Vita?

Also, is there an updated list of PSP games yet? Looking st grabbing Untold Legends for nostalgia sake, but I don't really want to dumb $15 at the moment for nothing.

Does anyone know if there's a way to transfer the Valkyria Chronicles II DLC over to Vita? I get the non-transferrable message. I had the same problem with Rock Band Unplugged, but I was able to dl it all through the in-game music store, which ended up working.

This happened to me once, too, a couple months back. I still have no idea how, but somehow the entire battery drained itself, when (I thought) it was on standby.

I take my Vita with me every day and glad it hasn't happened since, but yeah, it was weird.

This is also happened to me just the once, I have it sitting in my cradle over night and take it with me every day to work. I've no idea why the battery drained itself, I had no games suspended or the Near app running. Very weird, just glad it hasn't happened since.

Sorry to ask this again, but is there any sort of GPS settings or how the GPS works. I cant seem to find any settings. Also found someone from neogaf on near, gotta say near is pretty awesome. Really enjoying my vita, its an awesome device. Only sony has the balls to throw this much into a handheld hardware wise and I love it.

I dont know about you guys but my vita has froze on me 2 times already and I had to do a hard reset and power it down to work again.

At one point the touch screen didnt work and my att service was cut off and said no service.

Im gonna let Sony know.

Target was annoying today. They all had the games out but would not honor their own ad. Makes no sense that they let sales go to Best Buy who will honor the Target ad but they refuse to honor their own ad.

Just curious, when did the game stop working for you? I actually decided to download it since I remembered Sony gave it away after the long PSN downtime. Watched the intro, ran and jumped on a couple of triggers, quit the game. Did it just not start completely?

Wow.

Switching PSN/SEN accounts back and forth on Vita is not really bad at all. Takes easily less than 3 minutes. 1 m ute of that which is watching the into video lol.

Worst thing that sucks is you lose your web browser favorites and your screen photos are reset to stock.

It's a completely new game though, isn't it? It's not a port. And the original games aren't shit, like he claimed they were.

What you are saying is true, but it is perceived value. Lumines franchise is now viewed as a franchise that is a downloadable title since that is the market it has been on and compared to for the last couple of years. Also the market has changed a lot in 7 years. PSN, XBLA, and mobile games have changed the expectations of a retail release game.

That said I want Lumines, but the perception out there is that it is more of a download title in the $15-$20 range.

Yup. Should be a $19 title. $29 at the most.
Ubi titles notoriously drop in price at record speeds. They're also known to try to make the most money as possible in any given situation. So that initial $40 price point is not surprising. I would be more concerned with their PSN prices remaining the same long after their retail games have plummeted in price/value.

Is there a way to disable all those info/tutorial pop-ups?

He has a point. Lumines may have started as a PSP title but has since been on PSN and iOS at far cheaper prices and now all of sudden it is back up to $40.

40 is high and I'm sure it will fall in price fast, but just because it has a shitty (and I mean SHITTY) iOS version doesn't make the Vita game any less special. The 360 and SEN games are really good though, but ultimately this plays better on a handheld. If someone wanted to get into this game and had a PSP, I'd advise getting Lumines 2. It has about 100 skins, and you can easily ignore the lame music video skins. Lumines 1 can be had used for a couple dollars too, but it has fewer skins than the Vita game.

I broke and just pre-ordered via Amazon
Vita (Wifi) edition
Lumines
8GB memory card

Memory card is free, Lumines is £15 - overall cost with release day delivery is £227, I figured this is the best deal I'd find at launch

Wanted to wait but somebody convinced me otherwise!

Now I want Everybody's Golf, it's £29.99 on Amazon, is this the cheapest I can get it at the moment?

I don't have my Vita yet, but I wanted to download my games that I plan to transfer over now, so that I can come home from work on my lunch break and have everything ready to go.

LBP was one of the free games I selected last summer (Mod-Nation being the other) and I read that it wasn't working for people. Or, the option to transfer to Vita was not appearing. Are you saying otherwise?

thoughts on it?

Good impressions; I'll definitely pick it up come Tuesday.

I thought he meant this one:

Crystal Case

Looks like my TPU shell.

I just want to see if 3G on Vita will let us do Skype. The 3G has been amazing for me thus far. So worth it.

Having GPS and GAF in the sticks is WIN.

Is it really worth it? Having ATT as the sole 3G provider has really turned me off to the 3G aspect of the Vita. Their 3G plans are a disgrace. $15/$30 a MONTH? Really?!

I cant think of any application they can release to make me cough up that kind of money, $180 on the low end, double that on the high end.

Whats your usage been like so far? I just bought SSD and said to hell with ATT. SSD feels like it was made for the vita So Good. Highly recommended, bought the bundle, no installation issues.

Had a horrible time looking for some games tonight. Toys R Us arent putting their games out until the 22nd Target had ONE game out... Dungeon Hunters >_>,Best Buy and Walmart had no VT no Uncharted no Rayman.
This whole FEB/week early is just too confusing for your average retailers.

Good news is the Official release is just days away and equilibrium will be restored. Wednesday cant come soon enough.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to be watching it much closer, to see if I can figure it out. I'm wondering if it was because I let it fall into standy, and as I was driving it was constantly looking for (and finding) wi-fi spots?

The fact that I could buy 7 games without blinking an eye is incredible.

I had to really restrain myself to only get four and one download game. ... And then Valkyria 2.

2 days (and 3 nights) until Vita.

A small account switch recap:

You only need one card.
You have to be connected online (wifi or 3G) or connected to a PS3.
You have to make a factory reset but ask for NOT format memory stick.
You don't need to re-download the games when you switch accounts.
Games has to be played in the account that you downloaded them.

Is all correct?

Finally tried Fifa ( My friend's Vita..I am still waiting for official release here)

Oh What a great port,I think it's the first time we have perfect football port on handheld ever and I really feel sorry for Konami they are way behind (and where is PES Vita? did they just gave up?), srsly guys buy FIFA.

anyway best rear touchpad implementation ever, not only it's so good and perfect for soccer games (rear touchpad is the goal post..It's freaking brilliant) but it also feel natural and it's something that can't done with buttons or sticks , also it actually add to the experience since sending or putting the ball in specific direction/location or corner was always major problem in football games.

Wasn't really sure about the entire rear touchpad, but with FIFA I think we can see other games use it in a cool way too that help the gameplay.

Other note:Marvel vs Capcom vita... oh DAT D-pad..holy shit it's so good.

And it's too bad that that is the case, as the digital versions of Lumines games were largely recycled content from the previous Lumines entries and the ios version...well, it's Lumines with a smattering of IAP's and touch controls.

I do feel that Lumines: Electronic Symphony is overpriced at msrp, but I'd feel completely comfortable paying $30, as it, like Lumines and Lumines II, have completely original soundtracks and skins.

The fact that I have to tell my fiance to keep me the hell away form GameStop and Target next week is pretty incredible. I know I will binge on the B2G1 deals. Most launches I'll get 2-3 games, where at least 1 is good and the others are serviceable for launch titles. I definitely don't think that's the case this time around.

Not even use a separate card? Makes me wonder what happens when you have two save files on the system, does it distinguish between the two? Might make sharing a system a lot easier than I anticipated, just let us skip that video with a firmware update or something.

My girlfriend was at my house this weekend and was messing around with the FEB Vita I bought. She jumped on Amazon and pre-ordered a Wifi one with Hot Shots and Virtua Tennis. She isn't into video games really at all. I think this says a lot about the Vita as an impressive piece of hardware.

Yeah, it's pretty good. My only problem with UMvC3 Vita is trying to hold a button for Vergil's Round Trip or Zero's buster while doing other things. Oh, and also Taskmaster's angled hyper.

No doubt sir. Like I said, ran the intro (video), then the usual "run with sackboy" intro. Give me about 10 minutes to reinstall..

I have purchased Rayman, Lumines, Uncharted, Hot Shots, and FIFA. I am seriisly considering Virtua Tennis but I want MLB. The last time I felt this euphoric about a system launch was 9/9/99.

I keep wanting more of the launch games. I already have Lumines, Uncharted, HSG, Ultimate Marvel, Super Stardust, Wipeout 2048 and Virtua Tennis 4 yet I still plan on grabbing Rayman, BlazBlue and MLB in a couple of weeks.

I'm going to use the Futureshop trade deal in Canada to grab either Rayman and BlazBlue if they go back in stock this week.

Awesome, didn't know EU store was updating with Vita stuff at midnight on tuesday night /wednesday morning. Give me time to download a few things before mah Vita comes!

Shall have to spend my GAME vouchers on some PSN cards tomorrow.

I might be in the minority here, but I think Little Deviants is a pretty cool game in terms of demonstrating all the ways you can play on Vita. The visuals aren't too shabby either in a lot of areas.

Also, anyone with Army Corps of Hell yet? Wonder if it's worth the purchase, or should I wait for the price to eventually come down.
