Seems Target now has their games out for sale. But I cannot get them to hold a memory card to go with my Vita. I was told yesterday they would set aside on per preorder, but today I was told they cannot do this as it is in their ad as "While supplies last"

Who knows, maybe it was impossible to get the cards and boxes printed and shipped in time (Remember, even though I'm in NZ, we get Euro copies of all our games, with multilingual support). We'll find out on Thursday (my time) if it is in fact true. Hey, if PAL are getting Ridge Racer while it's delayed in US, there is still a chance!

Just ask some of the guys who ordered the FEB last week...They didnt get shipment emails until around 3:00 Tuesday but Id bet most of them got the order on Wednesday

I wouldnt worry until Wednesday comes and goes. If you dont get it, then youll have some apology credit from Amazon coming your way.

Is this like that on all of amazon stores, independent of country? It DOES say in the Help section of my country's Amazon that they ship it so you get it on release day, but I just emailed them and they said that they "already tried shipping it but couldn't" and that the estimated shipping date is the 22th???

I seriously fucking hope that's not right and I get on wednesday, considering I have Prime and chose the fastest shipping. Otherwise I'd be pretty pissed.

Just got mine. God damn this thing is sexy.... I got UMvC3 with it and it's awesome! My only problem is that my thumb is too big so I keep hitting the analog sticks while I'm doing moves, but otherwise it's just perfect...
 
Does anyone know if the Lunar PSP game is compatible with the Vita? I just realized that I hadn't beaten that version and wouldn't mind going through the Silver Star Story once more on the Vita's screen.

I'd like to go DD only but that will have to wait until the price of the 32 GB drops significantly. I'll probably buy larger sized games with deep single player like Uncharted and Gravity Daze retail and pick up and play stuff like Hot Shots and UMVC3 on PSN for the time being.
 
The Rayman price tag is rough because the MSRP on the PS360 versions just dropped to $20. I'm going to hold out or maybe hope for a PS+ discount.

It's funny you say that, because I had the exact same feeling playing the demo very briefly in a store. It really did look incredible.
 
Just had confirmation from ShopTo that my 3GVita has been packed with DPD for next business day delivery.

Awesome. Especially since I took the day off tomorrow in the hope that ShopTo might get this out early.

Has anyone tried to use the 3G as GPS for driving? Do I need to download an APP for it. The only thing available is the MAP and it gives direction but not GPS/realtime.

Seriously considering switching my order from Tesco to Amazon. Costs me £20 more but not sure i trust Tesco to despatch it with next day delivery. Hm. What do you all think?

I wouldn't hope on it. It also depends on how many stock they had. I bought batman arkham city special edition the day before release and still had to wait for 4 days before they send it


But yeah it all depends on how many stock and how many people order it already

Someone put up some direct feed NGS+ screens taken from the screenshot feature on the Vita. Looks native res and really sharp!

I'm still waiting to hear confirmation of 60 fps, I did hear some 30 fps talk but everyone is saying it's smooth. I really hope it's 60...
 
Is anyone going to buy Silent Hill: Book of Memories? It's out in late March and Konami's sending that bitch to a fiery hell. They haven't even released a single trailer for it.

Nah, I was only joking. I know I'd be really ticked off if my Vita was broken, especially after waiting all that time, and applying all that stuff to it (and getting it set up with all my information/games/etc), and then having to send it back. It happened with my wife's PS3 last year. I had just bought it for her, and less than a month later, we had to send it in to repair. We had to wait 2 weeks or so for the new one, then download and install all of her games and game data, since we didn't get to back it up before it broke.

You have time to ship it back, though, right? Don't they give you a few weeks? So at least you'll be able to play on this one, then back up your data and copy it to the new one when it arrives?
 
Im having trouble choosing a psp game to get...ive come down to...Trails in the sky, DJ max 3, or monster hunter freedom unite.

Note: ive never played a MH game before, and i dont know anyone to play multiplayer with...
 
Really happy that I went with Amazon since if there's anything wrong, their return policy is relatively pain free. Especially, if your hardware is defective, they send first.
 
Anyone have that soft case from the Starter Kit?

I know the sticks get in the way, but I loved the soft case I used with my PSP2000.

I'm trying hard to avoid a hard case, but it doesn't look like a solution exists.
 
WHAT THE FUCK? I open my case and go to play my vita and all I see is the blue ps button light and it won't turn on... I would plug it in to see if thats it but I am at work and didn't bring the cord with me as I charged it last night. This is just great.

happened to me too... hold down power 10 seconds to initiate a hard reset

I really liked origins and am interested in this isometric view. However, I will be renting it.

Glad Play are delivering with DPD instead of Home Delivery Network / Yodel, DPD have always been reliable in the pst for me, HDN... not so much.
