Nice! Mine was 66, I gotta pump those numbers up!From the Show Us Your PlayStation 2019 Wrap-Up & Get Rewards! thread, we can see how many hours we have put into PSVR during last year. What's yours?
I reckon No Man's Sky was the main culprit for at least a good third of those hours in VR.
I am so behind that I find myself being completely unaffected by any of these new game delaysIRON MAN VR DELAYED
EFF MY LIFE
Blood & Truth!! About 4-5 hrs but a wild ride the whole time.I've been keeping an eye out on Ebay for a reasonably-priced physical copy of the Rick and Morty game. I finally was able to snag one for about $20 shipped. The prices were falling on it in general, but it's been absurdly expensive.
So when I finally finish Death Stranding and get to start Ori, I have some PSVR waiting for me.
I think I have been buying too many games I can't play yet lol
- Blood & Truth
- Rick and Morty
- Apex Construct
- The Persistence
- Deracine
I clocked in at 118 hrs in PSVR, impressive numbers for you!Nice! Mine was 66, I gotta pump those numbers up!
I found it so easy, felt I was sleep walking through it. Since then there is a hard patch apparentlyI don't like saying this, but I'm not really feeling Blood & Truth so far. You can tell a lot of effort went into it and the people who made it were trying, but it's just not gripping me. I finished the museum section and am out of the safe house and ready to start the next shooting part.
I don't mind the node stuff and using X and O to go left and right feels intuitive enough. Shooting feels fine as well. I like spotting secrets along the way to get points that go toward weapon mods. But, overall, the story stuff is falling really flat for me.
And it feels kinda "early VR-ish" when there are long segments where you are supposed to be amazed by a room full of lights that change when you wave your hands or a paint gun that you're using to shoot paint onto walls. If this were one of my early experiences in VR, don't get me wrong, I would have thought it was kinda cool.
There are some cool little parts like the DJ booth where I'm cracking up, but there's a ton of poorly-paced stuff in between and the gameplay itself feels a little stiff. I think I was just expecting a more robust game here, but it's more of a VR experience than anything.
release date for PSVR?Aanyone getting The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners psvr?
I'm loving it on PC.
This gotta be PSVR2 right?
SIE Manchester just got closed, so not any more.

I looked up some footage, and damn! That looks fucking awesome. I hope the PSVR version comes out alright.
It was THAT studio?! You sure?
Unfortunately, yeah.

I get the feeling that much of that could be alleviated by simply having analog sticks on the Moves.I have been playing Apex Construct for the last couple nights. I think playing on Hard is a bit of a mistake. The controls are very clunky when you get to a point where timing, precise aim, movement, and arrow swapping becomes necessary all at the same time.
It has some good elements to it, but I'm getting a bit frustrated with it now and may not even finish it.
Definitely. You have to be able to back up while aiming the bow, which is physically impossible since you have to point backwards to move backwards.I get the feeling that much of that could be alleviated by simply having analog sticks on the Moves.
Oh a whim, I decided to pop No Man's Sky back in. Holy shit is it blurry in VR
I just didn't remember it being that bad the last time I tried it. My brain could probably get used to it, but I noped out kinda quick.
It is blurry, but what an experience. Nothing beats walking up to ships and seeing their actual size. Same with flying low and looking out of the cockpit.Oh a whim, I decided to pop No Man's Sky back in. Holy shit is it blurry in VR

Not sure if there's interest, but Golem is currently $15 on Amazon.
I saw some favorable things about it, but we will see when I get around to trying it haha.
I kept looking for good deals on it over time and finally Amazon came through. For me, $15 is a good point for me to at least try something. Worst case scenario, I sell it and get my money back. I'm just on the hunt lately for lesser talked about gems for PSVR because some of the big ones that got hyped up have underwhelmed for me a little bit.I really liked it. It has an oldschool feel to it, but definitely has alot of charm.

Mine has completely peeled out. I removed the remaining spots of coating with my hands and I don't feel any difference while wearing it.I fired up my launch PSVR headset over the weekend for the first time in forever only to find that the textured coating on the headband has started peeling. I always wiped the headset down after I was done, so it’s a bummer to still see deterioration. Sucks that those pads can’t be removed and potentially replaced like the rubber gasket that hugs your face.
Anyone else’s headset having similar wear and tear?
