PSVR in dark matter. Second pic sort of spoilery if you watch the show as its gives away the 2nd half of the episode
It's not so much the way he talks, which surely is a bit annoying, but much more so his attitude. His acting like a wannabe superstar is what really makes me cringe and wanting to stop playback.
It is a game if it was on Vive or Oculus amiriteI feel like this is an experience, not a game.
Its a pass-through when powered down, so it should work. Is your PSVR powered on? If so, it will default to 1080p I believe.
Have you done all the updates? I seem to recall my PSVR box was only sending a 1080p only from the Ps4 Pro until the updates were applied.
Thanks for all the responses. Ultimately I think it was because the PSVR box was not updated, once I plugged in the VR headset and turned it on it prompted an update and when it finished everything was fixed.I was using two different inputs on my TV, one for direct connection for HDR, etc and one for the breakout box. Breakout box was sending 1080p because I had to specifically enable 4k input in the TV options.
Have you used the same TV input for 4k successfully?

the whole game is playable in VR! Even the course editor, which in my opinion is really cool in VR.
We are using a 3rd person camera positioned over/behind the character while aiming. Once you hit the ball, you can follow the ball with your head, or, if it gets too far away, you can use the re-position button, which gives you a new camera position near the ball by teleporting there.
Right now only game pad support is planned, however we are looking at Move as well.
Y'all better play this with me

So I used to play a lot of minigolf games and really enjoyed them when i was around 10. Been missing out this genre for a long time, so Infinite Minigolf really interest me with its community stages and online. Seems like an ultimate minigolf game, plus it's only $15.
Now here's the problem. It is coming to Switch. I can either choose to buy it on Switch, which I will spend much more time in because of handheld+toilet play. Or I can get the PS4 version which includes sweet PSVR mode. I might wait for more PSVR info before deciding, but it's one of the toughest choice ever.
I'm waiting on a gameplay video, if VR mode is all I've ever wanted out of minigolf, I'll get it there. Honestly I want something we as a community can play because we haven't had that killer app yet where we can just all make a party and play.

If I had seen the trailer and the PSVR logo at the end, I'd have been instantly sold and committed to getting it for VR. But knowing it's coming to the Switch too? Yeah, now I'm not so sure. This game looks perfect for playing on the Switch. It's going to be a tough decision. So I used to play a lot of minigolf games and really enjoyed them when i was around 10. Story driven, steam punk shooting game(?)
What exactly kind of game is Dino Frontier?
You manage Dino in a Frontier.
Alright for real, you are a giant mayor of the town, you build stuff, plant crops, manage humans and fight dinosaurs/enemies. Tame dinosaur, train them, build mines, build weapons and stuff.
A god sim basically. You can watch Easy Allies impression.
Has anyone of you played "I Expect You To Die"? Looks like that kind of game I'm mostly into, like Batman: Arkham VR or Job Simulator.
It's fantastic. Short game, dlc coming soon, but the game is brilliant.

Short means? 2 hours? 5 hours?^^
Whatever happened to that Social VR thing that Sony did a press demo of before launch?
The one with the bobble-hat wearing Mii avatars on an island. They had some weird thing where the avatars would make eye contact and their mouths would animate based on what the headset mike picked up. Lots of physics hijinks, they were able to play chopsticks on a virtual piano using Moves.
I'll see if I can find the YouTube link, assuming it wasn't one of those gin-induced fever dreams...
Fully depends on your puzzle solving skill. The game is live-die-repeat but you only have 4 main levels. I would say maybe around 2 hours. But seriously, the game is really good. It's the best escape room type of game you can play now. Sitting beside Statik maybe, which is a little longer. Although, I will say Statik is a better game for the price and content offered, plus it has 3 co-op boxes.
Thanks, sounds like a game I need. But I think I should wait at least until the summer sale^^
Wow this game is real. With Move support.
Paranormal Activity

Dem smooth locomotion. Honestly I thought it works really well, especially in Arizona Sunshine, maybe missing a walk back button but that's about it, usually I will just strafe backward.

Is Farpoint OK without the Aim? I was waiting for Aim before playing but I am losing hope finding one, Sony doesn't seem to keen on making more.
Aim is a must, enhances the game by a lot.
What are some of the best Indie/mid tier games for PSVR? I know thumper is supposed to be decent, batllezone, any others?
I got one recently too. Rez, Polybius and Thumper are amazing with it.so ready for this. Just picked up a Kor-FX vest to go along with Paranormal Activity.
Try picking something from your ears, eyes, nose. And how far are you? I really need to figure out how to do that damn catapult.Having fun with Fantastic Contraption. It's pretty damn hilarious seeing some cobbled together monstrosity venture off.
I just wish they explained some of the tools and let you resize the play field
Anything above 20 Euros will take a bit more convincing or once I'm running out of content.
Therefore a VR PSN sale would be nice... I have my eyes on Job Simulator, Robinson, I expect you to die. Star Trek... I think I don't want to play with randoms...
btw turns out smartwatches are a good way to stay connected to the real world (as it vibrates when I get a call etc.)
Avoid EU PSN, go for US PSN. There's a lot of store/seller around MY/SG that have a lot of sale for US PSN top up cards. Plus PayPal Gift and PCGameSupply will have monthly cheaper top up cards too.
Also try COD Jackal Assault and Statik demo.
As for drifting, leave your headset on a flat surface when it is booting up, at least 30secs~1minute, i made it a practice to do it every time. If it drifts again, take it off and put it on a flat surface again.
Lastly for nice games, make sure you don't miss out any games from just looking at the picture, a lot of them are really good. Mortal Blitz, Dick Wilde, Fruit Ninja (very polished, one of the best tracking game), Statik.
Mh I would but my main account is EU and nowadays I prefer having everything available via one account (and getting the PS+ sales). I still go for the US flash sales sometimes.
I buy my Euro top up cards on ebay, too. 45 EUR for 50 PSN credit. And I get another few bucks off from the cc rebate. So it's like 43-44 per topup, not too bad if you mostly buy games on sale.
oh, thanks for those tips! Yeah I want to try the Statik demo. Fruit Ninja maybe as well as I never played it and I want some VR swords.
Finally found the WSJ article of PSVR number sold.
http://archive.is/JIbr4
Still couldn't find the original source of that image, I've seen other articles saying the image is from WSJ. We are expecting around 1.6~1.8mil. Pretty impressive, VR developers ignoring PSVR market is a bad mistake...
