First impressions are really positive. It's ridiculously easy to set up and fits better than any other VR device I've tried. The controllers feel weirder than the Quest 2, but that's obviously because I haven't gotten used to them yet. Only played around thirty minutes of Resident Evil Village and it's awesome. I love the flashlight - such a cool addition. Really impressed by the visuals. The colours look way better than I was expecting. I can't wait to play some more tomorrow and over Christmas.

Gonna have a look at the sale. Any recommendations?

Thanks, I needed it.

I think I'm good with what I got so far, and removed all the games from my cart. I'm going to focus on playing each game I already purchased and finish them before buying anything else where they may be cheaper the next time I catch them on sale.

Moss will be the game I focus on tonight.
Such a nice little gem! Quill is adorable and everything in this game is charming. The first is a short game, with the second one improving in almost every aspect, including lenght (without overstaying its welcome). Hope you will enjoy it as much as I did!

My biggest recommendation for you is Organ Quarter.

make sure the pudding isn't too soggy but that just ruins everything
Finally assembled that globular cluster (just mildly annoying by normal assembly standards — thanks for the video) it seems good but I haven’t played a game yet. Hopefully tomorrow. The one nice difference is that the rear portion of the adjustable ring on the default setup was always pretty uncomfortable for me. If I wore the headset as recommended, that back part of the ring would practically cut off circulation to my head (lol) because of how tight it’d need to be to stay in place. It would almost feel like the back of my head and scalp would start to get that feeling, like when an arm or leg starts to fall asleep — unpleasant tingling / discomfort. This is MUCH better for me. I can just wear it normally, (I would previously have to have that back park higher than recommended and it was weird-feeling tbh) and I’m looking forward to that. I think it’s a rare problem that most people don’t encounter, so that’s why I never complained about it. But it’s nice to seemingly be fixed now. We’ll see.

When I looked there was only one free dlc for Puzzling Places. Were the other free DLC only for a limited time?
My bad, some of them were directly integrated in the game, like the last one with the Tiny Grade crossover.

I played 2 more hours of Subside and I take back what I said: this game is not an 8... its a fucking 9+! The diving at night, the clostrophobic underground caverns, the shark encounter... this is absolutely phenomenal! The immersion is unparalleled and the game can be almost terrifying. What a thrill!

And last, to finish the night nicely, I tried Toy Trains and I also really dig it. The game oozes with charm, from its chill light guitar music, fun puzzles to its simple but nice graphics (a bit low rez tho), everything works well together and its a joy to play.
(Reminder that the game is on sale for less than 3 euros on the EU store, dont miss it if for that price!)

Cheers for the recommendation, mate. Will take a look.
Click around the beginning a bit. I captured that back in October. It's old-school survival horror. Basically a mix of RE 1996 and Silent Hill 1. It's really basic when it comes to VR elements but man is it good. OST, script/voice acting. 3 man team. It's such a good game if you like PSX era Survival Horror. It doesn't allow for seated play though. That's important to some people.

I played Moss till my Sense controllers batteries needed charging.

Really enjoyed myself with it and get strong Neverending Story vibes from it.

Look forward to beating it this weekend.

The nice thing about VR games is they tend to be in the 5-15 hour range, instead of the 40-100+ hour range of AAA games. You can actually manage to keep up with most releases if you invest a half decent amount of time in it - outside of getting addicted to something like Beat Saber or Puzzling Places which can be near endless.

Maaaaaan, Foglands is on sale for 12.99.

Someone's gotta take the plunge. I'll legit PayPal someone the money if they want to try it out. PanzerCute PanzerCute is a VR beast, you might like it.

I'm telling you, once you understand what that game allows you to do, there's honestly nothing else like it on PSVR2. You can bend that game to your will. I honestly believe that if that game launched in a better state and didn't have the Without Parole interview drama around it, the game would be viewed as a total indie gem.
Just purchased it on your advice.

It's a pity that folks don't re-review games once they've been fully patched. It would give folks a much better view of the state of the game but I guess the name of the game is to get the review out as soon as possible and usually without even the first day patch. Got's to be first!!!

Crayon Crayon . 7th Guest is awesome. It's slow and dripping with atmosphere. A really good escape room game and a nice change of pace.

Looks fantastic. The original RE is my favourite so I'm definitely going to grab it!

Omg 7th guest isy childhood. I'm usually not interested in revivals, at least based on name alone, but of it's vr, I have to get it for 12 year old me because I used to imagine every game in vr.

Just beat Moss.

First VR game I've finished and I loved it.

Touches on everything I love about The Hero's Journey, Fairytales, folklore, legends, mythology, with anthropomorphic animals with quirky personalities.

It's also very feminine that's done in such a way, most male players likely never realize it.

I can't wait till Moss 2 goes on sale.

I plan on starting my next game tonight between the 7th Guest, Propagation: Paradise Hotel, or The Room VR.

Moss 2 is a HUGE step up compared to 1. And imo 1 is a magical experience.

You will not be disappointed.

I need to finish this game while the graphics aren't the best it's found found it to be good.

I’ve bounced off Moss half-a-dozen times, pretty early each time… not sure why. I do like it. It’s honestly right up my alley. I have both games, really need to just power into it for a few hours lol.
Yes, you do. I have this problem too due to too many games in my backlog, however I just have to force myself to focus on one game and only one game until I finish it.

Played some more Resi Village. In the castle and died quite a few times. Adjusted my tactics and stopped letting all those vampire gurls catch me. Seemed to help.

I also played the Horizon demo and wow - those graphics are amazing. I'm getting old and the climbing tired me out haha. Another that I'll probably buy when it's cheaper.
You didn't get Horizon when you bought your PSVR2?

Is there a list of all PSVR2 games that support crossplay?
I bought a Quest 3 and would like to know what I could play coop with my brother and friends when they visit.

Some of the issues I experienced with Starship got fixed, namely the adjustment option for your belt.

It's a fun arcade style shooter. Made it to the third mission but this game is designed for coop. Solo has been fine but it's exhausting juggling everything by yourself. Resolution is still rough which is a damn shame because this game has a really pleasant artstyle and vibe.

Played the SubSide demo on PS5Pro last night and immediately pulled the trigger on the full version. Hard to believe one guy made this.

Loved the relaxing exploration and collecting in beautiful underwater environments. I only wished I could swim faster and be a bit less buoyant - a quick google revealed collecting the coins lets you buy gear to deal with both those things.

On the other end of the spectrum, picked up Hellsweeper (as I really enjoyed Sairento on PSVR1) and also Breachers in the Summer sale. Haven't tried either yet.

So in demeo, you can tilt the playfield up. That way, you don't have to look down to get your "top down view".

EVERY strategy game should have that. I've gone back to townsmen and in the position I was sitting in, it would be so my more comfy to tilt that field up like I can in demeo.

Thanks for the impressions. I think I will give it a miss. Given how simplistic this looks I would have expected the game to look super sharp on PSVR2. Maybe the devs have not implemented foveated rendering.

I wish Demeo had DLC. I know they are doing a Dungeons and Dragons. But wish there were more table top games. Like Aliens, Resident Evil, Gears of War (that prob wouldn't happen).

I really hope contractors will come to psvr2, but in the meantime; is Pavlov worth fullprice? Or should i buy breachers currently 50% off?
