Really proud of them for doing this. Fox News deserves to be taken to task for spewing false and actively harmful information, especially during times as volatile as this. That letter is as classy as you can get.

So they'd rather delete the tweet than correct it? Since it doesn't fit their agenda might as well erase from sight. Despicable.

I love my country. ❤️❤️

And I'm so thankful we got rid of Harper and the cons when we did, otherwise we'd be a new state to the US by now.

If they don't comply we ban their reporters and CEOs from the country and from having access to any Canadian press releases (if they even get them in the first place, which I doubt is the case).

We could also pull an EU and go after Twitter and Facebook themselves and force them to comply with our Hate Speech and Anti Bullying laws

The doesn't seem smart to me. The US accounts for most of Canadian trade. We don't have the upper hand here. Is there precedent for this happening and working?

This 100%. I'm so glad that Canadians rejected his divisive and negative election campaign and opted for diversity, inclusivity and all other real Canadian values ❤🇨🇦

I was this close to sending an e-mail asking to the PM to condemn this yesterday. Looks like other people actually did.

Proud of my country. Fuck fake news.

Nothing but respect and admiration for Canada, and it's quite shameful a news organisation is happy to blatantly lie to keep perpetuating fear and be commended for doing so by the consumers of thier news, who know deep down it's not true. What's worse is that the audience want to be fed false information, they'll own up to it, just to keep thier narrative alive,

Absolutely. Now I hope we can reject people like Kevin O'Leary and Kellie Leitch in the same way. Harper's government was beginning to take things down a pretty scary path.

Yes. More of this. Sunny ways 🇨🇦☀️

Doing my part and sold a tiny piece of my soul ($15) to the cons so I can vote in their leadership race and try to keep O'Leary and Leitch out.

Fox News doesn't give a shit about the victims of the attack. All they care about is pushing their racist narrative.

The "everything is fake news" assertion really loses steam when people insist it apparently extends to all international media.

Like, I get that you could be ignorant enough to think there's a conspiracy in your own country, but are you sure they took the time to include Canada as well?

There is no losing steam for this. You either believe the worlds news media all have a liberal slant or you do not. Many Republicans believe this, since admittedly news usually portrays their views in a negative light. So yeah it's all news. Everywhere. Can only trust your neighbor... maybe.

As a Canadian, I am proud of this.

Get bent and fucked with barbed wire you conniving corporate masturbatory sock puppet whores, aka FOX News for not only exploiting our tragedy but also LYING about the facts to mislead the dumb fucks in your motherfucking cuntry that is doubly reprehensible because it is in service to the alt-reich propaganda and its heads for this new age.

They deleted it. This shit requires constant vigilance.

Even if you're not american, encourage your reps, your everyone, to pressure these shitstains every step of the way. IF they don't...a lot of people are going to die.

This is all so horrifying.

Ask me about the moon landing or the temperature at which jet fuel burns. You may be surprised at what you learn.
As an immigrant I am eternally grateful my parents chose to immigrate to Canada.

As a Canadian citizen, I am so grateful to call Canada home. I cant think of a better place to live on Earth.

God bless Canada and Justin Trudeau.

It's good to be in Canada right now. I would feel better though if the Conservative party weren't taking notes from what has gone on South of the border.

This could all change very quickly next election.

You are absolutely correct and that's why we have to remain active and politically engaged. I also believe we must communicate with each other in positive ways. In disagreements relating to politics, instead of talking defensively and negatively about the other side, we have to promote the positive side of the ideas we support. I think it's key to maintaining a good dialogue with each other and remaining united.

As for this letter, it's really great to see. I hope the attack doesn't change us for the worst, and brings us together more than ever.

As I'll continue to say, Canada is everything America thinks they are and pretends to be to the point the only thing America can do is make of their accent. Good on them to hold Fox accountable for their bullshit unlike here were we see the bullshit, and let it go because something about all views are equal even the ones that aren't real.

Maybe it's because there's been so much bullshit from Trump, but I feel like this story completely dropped off the international news radar once it was revealed who the shooter was.

Of course, the shooter was white thus it was an "isolated incident by a lone wolf" and didn't fit the narrative that's currently being perpetuated

It's always relieving to see white supremacists being called out on their bullshit.

Fuck Fox News.

Nothing but respect for the PM.

And R.I.P. to the victims of this terrible tragedy.

Fox will just spin it as if Canada was withholding the truth.

Muslim involved? Terrorist, our ban is proactive. Canada should take note.
White, right-wing christian extremist? One bad apple, no need to look at deeper route causes (he's publicly state his love of Trump and La Penne).
That's how it IS being spun

I feel like the Trump administration is bringing Canada together more than ever because what we value is actually being threatened.

Fuck Trump and fuck Harper just because.

I'm not talking about doing that to the entire USA... just Fox News and its shitty people.

simple human decency > fox news.

Let the country grieve for Pete's sake rather than pander to your audience. smh.
