Yeah, I have a gym at the end of my street at home, maybe three or four houses down. I'm not level 5 yet, but I'm pretty sure I can catch it from the corner of my backyard. I'm going to own that gym.

I got to one stop (one I hit yesterday) and got pokeballs again. Tfw no eggs ever. The other one I couldn't get to before the servers died again.
The gym is a gazebo outside the one spot (a library) so I as at least able to get my team. It's a yellow one with Raticate so hopefully I can fight it later when I go back by.

Yep! Since last night. The game works about 10% of the time, but yeah, you can join in the rest of us, manually entering your email and password over and over all day.

I had a pretty cool encounter at a local park. I was walking up to a family of 3 (mom, dad, daughter) walking around together, all looking down at their phones. I was wondering if they were playing Pokemon Go, but before I asked, the Dad said something like "Hey! You're looking down at your phone, are you playing Pokemon Go too?" and then we had this fun 5 or so minute conversation about it. They talked about how they sent pictures to their son in the Navy and he was anxious to play and yadayada and how they have a daughter in NC who's been playing it. (something like that). Then we talked about what pokemon we had, where we caught it, seeing other people around who's been playing it, stops around town, some other things, and departed.

Maybe this is the QoL happening right beneath our noses, getting people out there exercising, socializing, exploring new places.

God damn it. You'd think it'd work anyway since Android can sense which way the phone is turned with only accellerometers. Hopefully they'll do something about it because just turning the screen off is sure to save a bunch of battery.

I was thinking about this today. They got us going outside and exercising and all it took was Pokemon.
It's easy to get confused. "Instinct" and "Valor" are ideals you feel that you should have, and thus you seek the approval of those who claim to represent those ideals for their "team."
But those belonging to Team Mystic already know they have the right instinct. The instinct to join Team Mystic.

I had a feeling it would take a week or two to sort everything out.
I really hope they fix the 1hp gym thing since a stupid paras killed five of my Pokemon and I couldn't run or anything.

Had to go walk to the store and knew that there were several pokestops along the way. Signed on in my apartment and left. I had server issues for the entire walk to and from the store but got back to my apartment and logged right on. Haha. I really picked a bad time for that walk.
