So there's a Pokestop at the fountain by the pool in the middle of my apartment complex. Someone put a Lure module on it earlier, so I decided to walk up there, and I saw no less than 15 people on their phones all there, and probably more down by the pool that I didn't see.

So will they actually add more content to the game? I noticed there were only 133 slots in the Pokedex, no way to battle wild Pokemon or other players (not counting gym battles), and some other things that feel like "basics" of Pokemon that are missing.

I just went to a lure spot on a military base and two dudes were already there leeching off it. This game is crazy.

I like that certain Pokemon appear in the same spot over and over. You can communicate to friends and other players where to catch something they might be looking for. There's a Scyther spawn in the middle of a cul-de-sac in front of my friend's house, and people have been passing through from time to time just to pick one up. That's pretty cool.

This seems to happen to me when anyone else is interacting with a gym the same time I am.

It's bizarre that more than one person interacting with a landmark brings the game to a crashing halt for everyone.

My roommates and I walked around the busier streets and parks around here for an hour this evening and there were multiple lures, but we only really saw one Pokemon at it.

Also beat my first gym! Five seconds later someone else took it since my Pokemon aren't really strong but still was nice!

Not where I'm at besides Pidgey and Ratata I've had a wild Balbasuar, Eevee, Exeggcute, and Scyther (didn't catch it >.>) appear in my living room.

This is the one game where trading needs to happen. I'm not going to catch enough wild Charmander to evolve my Starter and the same goes for the wild Balbasuar too. I just want my Dragonite and enough canon fodder Dratini to max him out! >.>

Reading some of y'alls experiences losing gyms really fast makes me kinda glad I live out in the 'burbs. Spent almost 3 hours driving around to different Metro park parking lots tonight, ended the evening holding 9 gyms. Can't imagine I'd be able to pull something like that off downtown.

There is also a zero paw print. If you select that one from the nearby list then it will pretty much just appear in a few seconds.

Some locations are variable, but some appear to be set. There are always a Ghastly and a Horsea side by side at the entrance to a local park, for example (the park has a pool, and is a couple of blocks away from a cemetary... I don't know if these things influence the Pokemon spawns but I think it's a cool coincidence).
