Man, evolved my second Eevee and got another Vaporeon. Really wish there was a way to choose between the three eeveelutions.

Other than that I made a lot of progress in my Pokedex today: Nidorina, Vulpix, Machop, Weepinbell, Gastly, Scyther, Jynx!

Rock is definitely super effective against Flying. If the "Super Effective" text appeared above Pidgeot, then I'm pretty sure that means your attack was Super Effective, not that their move was.

Alternatively, Pidgeots can know Steel Wing as their basic attack, and that'd be Super Effective against Geodude. Wouldn't explain why Rock Throw wasn't very effective though.

Ah, I see, thanks! To be honest geodude went down so fast that I couldn't make much sense of the combat screen. The pidgeot probably knew Steel Wing. I'll just have to level up a team before I try again. My highest level is only a little above 200 and I caught that once I hit level 5.

I haven't really noticed a difference. Maybe a few Magikarp, but largely the same types by water sources, sans special Pokemon which seem to respawn in the same spots.

I drove into King's Park last night at around 8:00pm. It was an incredibly surreal experience. The whole place was packed, there were hardly any car spots, and everyone was huddled around in packs looking at their phones. I left at around 10:30pm and there were more cars lining the road, most of them illegally parked up on the curb. It was a sight to behold.

Yes lures are better. It popped seaking and golduck there also. I didn't take pics of the lures going off but here is the magikarp before and my current high levels

because in Australia after a pause at the white screen you get unexpectedly a "Sign up with.." screen, which is BS because it should say "login" if it has forgot your credentials. Then of course it doesn't work.

Same on wifi or 4g, for the last 3 hours at least and counting.

Was hunting down a Kingler, some dude runs up to me asks me if I'm playing pokemon, and we split up to hunt it down. I find it a block over, yell him down... and the server dies. When it comes back the Kingler is gone.

Yeah, this is really fucking unfair. They need to expand the criteria for Pokestops to ensure that there is an equal number in each 5 mile block.

Ingress has a map viewer (which is crazy slow because of all the info pulling in), so I would assume GO will get a map viewer sometime down the line.



I hope they do something extra with the gyms and the colors, like how in Ingress you create surfaces of different colors and that shows who's winning, maybe have something where owning different gyms gives you something (other than the coins) that makes people want to keep the gym their color.
